Nice selection of beers, both on tap and in bottles. Casual menu including pizza. Staff very friendly.
We were staying at the Hilton Raleigh North Hills for a conference and decided to get a drink before the opening ceremony. The bar opens at 4 and closes around 10 or 11. Interesting dill snack mix, friendly staff, and the usual bar food options. The charcuterie board was better than expected and just right to share. Large lobby with a view of the breakfast area and front door, so it’s easy to meet up and have a drink at the bar, a high-top, or low-top table.
The hotel breakfast was a very standard hotel breakfast, but my server, Meria, was so wonderful! It was great to connect with another person when we’re both so far from home.

The 88 Oaks Carolina Kitchen and Bar offers a delightful dining experience with its elegant and creatively presented seafood and steak entrees. The menu features unique potato dishes and salad additions, as well as a delicious salmon dish. While the pimento cheese dip received mixed reviews, the grilled cheese on the kids' menu was highly praised. The breakfast buffet is above average, though pricey, with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly wait staff. However, there have been issues with room service charges. Overall, the restaurant provides good food and attentive service.
