Bloomsbury Bistro

Had a really good time for our anniversary. Both of us enjoyed our meals and desserts. I particularly enjoyed my basil gimlet mocktail - our server Quinn was very kind and made a great suggestion with the gimlet. The atmosphere was upbeat, and it got somewhat more boisterous as our stay went on.

Food and drinks are always on point. Service is always courteous and helpful. We really enjoy their seasonal selection as well as their special events.

Everything was great! Franklin our sever was super attentive.

We had a delicious lunch today. Our server, Franklin, was phenomenal. He went through the menu, highlighting several choices, and was so patient while our group made our choices. We'll definitely return, hopefully on a day that Franklin is serving!

We have had Franklin as our server for our last two lunch visits. He is the best! He makes the dining experience at Bloomsbury even better.

Great food. Friendly, helpful staff. Neighborhood gem. Really like the outdoor patio when the weather cooperates. If you like tequila, the Tijuana Taxi is delicious. Lots of thought and intention goes into the regular menu and specials.

Had dinner on Wednesday evening. The food was fantastic and the service (thanks to Franklin) was professional, timely and courteous. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

We ate their last night after seeing a concert at the Rialto Theater. We came on from our of town for it so we wanted to eat somewhere close to the theater. We decided on Bloomsbury after seeing the menu online and it had us salivating. It did not disappoint. Everything about this place was top shelf excellent. The cocktails, the food, the service, the atmosphere, just everything was really superb. I highly recommend this place and wish I could give it more stars!!!

I went in tonight after driving past this place so many times, and I’m glad I did! I sat at the bar and had the best espresso martini I’ve found in raleigh. Becca was attentive and kind, it felt like I was speaking with an old friend. After a large group came in, my main dish started taking a little bit, and I had somewhere to be so I kindly asked the kitchen to box it up. John came out personally and apologized, and took care of my meal while also giving me a gift card. I will absolutely be back just for the customer service alone (not to mention the martini and bread basket!) I look forward to connecting with this great group of staff again and coming back in the very near future. Thank you John and Becca!
