Fun place to visit with friends. Craft beer kind of pricey for $8 a pop. Pin ball machines shows .25 on the coin hole but it is actually $1 per game. Might be a good place in the evenings for live music. They should have streaming music when live music is not avaiable. Overall, I would visit again.

Great little arcade bar! Friendly door staff, nice vibe. Clean bathrooms. I recommend Skee Ball, but then I always recommend Skee Ball 😁

This was a fun place to visit, definitely good for small groups since the place is small. Games are on the pricy side and most of the machines are not maintained adequately. Primarily a bar, secondarily an arcade. Hardly any parking in the area though, so be ready to walk to this place.

I had a date here we had a fun time, drinks were great. But we did pay for tokens and some of your machines were broken because they ate the coins. I have been to a bunch of arcade bars and this didn’t happen , they had plastic cards or their machines worked or we paid for the whole night to game. Hopefully this can stop happening.

Place used to be decent. They've again raised prices and let the maintenance on their games go in the trash. Upper management doesnt care. There are better options in the area that are also cheaper.

I remember coming here when they were new and they had SO MANY game options. The wii set ups with games to play for free. This place seems to have drastically declined. There's still a few classic game cabinets. But almost every machine was $1 in tokens, making it not very fun because you're just losing money. Best thing about this place now is the art on the walls.
Lots of fun for me and the kids. Got to play games from my childhood. Be prepared to spend a bunch on coins because there are so many games.

This bar is a staple in Raleigh, you literally cannot get any better. The trolley starts and ends across the street. The atmosphere here is absolutely amazing, bartenders are great (Vitia is the best ever)! Whether you are looking for a fun spot for post brunch or just a fun hangout with friends you literally cannot go wrong with Boxcar. Take a chance, grab some cons, play some games have a few drinks and just relax. I love This bar ❤️
