It’s very obvious they try to cut as many corners as they can for cost efficiency. Ordered a couple of natural juices thinking they were fresh, shortly after receiving the drink I saw the waitress pouring is out of a can (Dole Pineapple to be exact), problem is I paid about $6 for a “natural juice.” As for the entree, it was nothing to write home about, pretty basic caribbean food, but again the price vs what you actually get, not worth it in my opinion. For dessert we ordered a tres leche… the cake was a cornbread consistency, not sure if that was intentional? Never had a tres leche like that nor will I ever desire one like that again. All in all, not my cup of tea, won’t be returning to this establishment. If you’re looking to scratch the Caribbean food itch and are willing overpay for it, this is your place.

Authentic Dominican cuisine. The whole vibe of the place says "authentic", the food, the service, the music. It's like stepping into the Caribbean when you walk in the door.

The food is delicious every time. It is either better or as good as the food my grandma used to make.

So the food was okay and the service was adequate. However, we ate around noon, and they charged us double on the bill. When I asked why the bill was higher than the prices online and on the menu, I was told that they had charged us more because it was a holiday (Memorial Day). This is a sneaky way to rob people. I will not be returning to this place. Don't eat here if you don't want to pay double what the menu says. They charge you double without telling you, and when you ask them why they charged you double, they tell you, "Sorry, it's a holiday." This is the way to steal. They don't eat here. There is another place called Dominican Restaurant and it is about 5 minutes away. Better eat somewhere where they won't charge you more.

I’m so mad I forgot to take photos!
We brought our family here for dinner and were not disappointed! My father and Uncle are from the DR and they were very happy with the authenticity of our meal. We ordered sancocho, arroz con pollo, arroz con bacalao, pernil, and bistec. Everyone was so happy, including our kids! My husband said the last time he had sancocho like that it was in Punta Cana for our honeymoon. The cook even came out to check on us. The staff was incredibly friendly. We are excited to refer our friends and family to come check it out!

I love their food but being treated poorly isn't my idea of fun. You are only treated well if you are Latino/Hispanic. I had Hispanic customers who came in after me and my son and got served before us. We were the only Black and biracial (Black/Latino) customers in the restaurant to which we were checked on once, had to go to the bar to get the check and to go trays. Only received requested items after Latino customers got their items. Due to this obvious racist service, I will never go back. In addition, it seem like my food just sat in the kitchen because it was barely warm when I finally got it.

Nice service and good food
Food was causal nothing special not authentic not even close
Delicious! If you go you have to try the baccalao (salted cod stew) or the Pernil! (Slow braised pork) with a side of rice and red beans! SO GOOD as a Puerto Rican from Brooklyn it tastes like home
