On Wednesday, March 4, 2026; my wife, granddaughter and I stopped at City Barbeque at 4122 Lake Boone Trial Raleigh, NC for lunch.
The food was delicious and the service was friendly and polite. The manager checked on us several times to make sure how our meal was and if we needed anything else.
The restaurant itself was very clean.
We certainly will be going back and taking our family and telling our friends how good it was.

A wonderful place. If you are looking for delicious food with the rich smell of burning wood and friendly staff this is the place. The staff was really friendly, but more importantly, the food was delicious. We got the judge's sampler and everything was soo good. The ribs were extremely flavorful and tasty, the brisket was moist juicy and full of flavor, the chicken and pulled pork were also hits. We ate to our fill and really enjoyed it there. Next time I'm in Raleigh, I will be stopping by for sure.
