Sydney was our server. She did an amazing job. She is a bright star shining in personality and service. We started with the peach & raspberry salad. The goat cheese complimented it well. I was surprised by the prosciutto in the middle, but my friend loved it. We then moved onto the Tuna Crudo and Longganisa Sausage. Both stood on their own with wonderful flavors. We finished with the Trout and Steak. Both prepared properly. Correct temperature and seasoning. We love us Jolie, but we will be back. Probably have to flip a coin each time.

Every time we visit Crawford and Son we leave very happy! Just went last week and enjoyed everything we ordered. We started with the Razor Clam Ditalini, it was extremely flavorful , would definitely order it again. I would love it as a main course! Also started with the Yellow Fin Tuna Crudo, so delicious, the tuna was tender and the avocado puree was wonderful! For our mains we ordered the Denver steak, cooked perfectly, very tender and the Madiera Jus was perfect. Also enjoyed the Roasted Sea Trout with summer squash and Yuzu Amarillo Butter. Once again so rich and flavorful. My husband and I kept switching plates because we loved both. Of course we had to order the Manchego-Herb biscuits which never disappoint. We usually sit at the bar and ALWAYS have the best service. Excellent wait staff! Crawford and Son is definitely worth driving downtown for!

Impulsive date night with my wife. We were able to get early seating and opted for the bar. The drinks and food were, as always, unique and delicious. Sydney took good care of us, was most helpful and informative with drink selection and menu description / suggestion, as well as amusing and entertaining with out going over the top.

We had an absolutely fabulous time on our visit to Crawford & Sons! Of course I expected nothing less, the food was fantastic, drinks spectacular and followed by a night cap downstairs at Sous Terre. 10/10 would recommend!

The food and drinks were absolutely phenomenal. One of the best meals I’ve had in a while (tuna appetizer, my wife had the Cod, and I had the flat iron steak, and their NA Cocktails were very tasty and refreshing). ?? As good as the food was, the service was even more outstanding. Friendly, informative in menu questions, and accommodating when my clumsy elbow knocked my drink off table. The replaced it at no charge. I’ve already recommended to a few friends. Highly recommended. I’m excited to try out some of their other sister restaurants.

Mixed experience. Had the Short Rib Ragout, Hamachi Crudo, Manchego Biscuits, and Fried Green Tomatoes. The short rib in the ragout was very good as well as the pasta but the sauce itself is WAY too salty, like can’t keep eating it salty. Hamachi Crudo was really interesting flavor wise but not outright great by any means. The biscuits are phenomenal. I requested fried green tomatoes as a side and they obliged, thankful for that they were very good. Would have probably been 3 stars cuz of great service but walking out the door hungry and unimpressed for $80+ for one person gotta make it 2 stars.

The food at Crawford & Son is absolutely unbelievable. My wife and I celebrated our 5th anniversary here - she got the duck breast, and I got the cod. After trying a bite of each other's food, we simply had to share both entrees. The flavor and texture combinations across each plate were masterfully designed. The bone marrow beef tartare and manchego herb biscuits were to die for also. And of course the service was stellar. I don't live in Raleigh, but will definitely need to return next time I'm in town!
