You must come here to eat. We had a phenomenal experience tonight. The food and drinks were amazing and the service was even better. We’ve been here many times and our server tonight, Caleb, was the best server we’ve had at Death and Taxes. Actually Caleb was the best server we’ve ever experienced in our lives! Thank you Death and Taxes and thank you Caleb!
My only complaint is the lack of CC surcharge fee (3%) being advertised, until you get a check at which point no one normally will have the sum of cash to pay the bill, forcing you to use CC.
Death and Taxes is a great spot for a 4th or 5th date (or first, if you’re a big baller), or celebrating any occasion. The food is good to great, and service is really excellent! I tend to only leave 5 star reviews if this combination is met, and they definitely delivered.
We are vegetarian, and it is pretty hard to introduce us to new ways to eat vegetables. So, the beet appetizer was a pleasant surprise as we hadn’t really had such a flavor profile before....
