This is my FAVORITE local coffee shop in Raleigh-- I am a social worker down the road and stopping here on my way into work never fails to brighten my day. This morning a barista recognize me AND called me pretty! The best coffee, employees, and service.

We came here during the first snow storm this winter (we walked in the snow and were so happy to see it was open!). It was my first time. I tried their caramel maple latte and it wasn’t too sweet and by itself I didn’t enjoy the flavor too much, but I loved it with the delicious coffee cake (so glad I was able to grab the last one!). Service was interesting - although I tremendously appreciate that they were open in the snowstorm, the worker (also the owner?) was cleaning...

The menu in person doesn't match what's online so it was a bit confusing. The drinks weren't bad, but they didn't taste much like what I ordered. The white mocha was sweet but didn't taste like a white mocha, and the seasonal peppermint bark had barely a hint of mint. The iced drinks we ordered were also really warm when we got them as if the milk wasn't chilled and the pellets of ice are insufficient too cool the drink so it was lukewarm at best.
