I had an amazing experience at this authentic African restaurant! My friend and I ordered the fufu with egusi chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. The customer service was excellent; the owner was very welcoming and attentive, which made the meal even better. On top of that, the pricing was very good for the quality and portions we received. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for authentic African cuisine!

With my first time trying African food I was pleasantly pleased with the taste of my dish. I got egusi soup with smoked turkey and fufu with creamed spinach. My boyfriend got the jerked chicken and jollof rice with creamed spinach. We both were obsessed with the layers of flavor and perfect amount of spice. The owner and his daughter are very sweet people and were very helpful explaining menu items. Their fresh made juices and lemonades are amazing too. They also have certain items you can buy like a mini grocery store. Portions are plentiful. Pricing is reasonable.

What a pleasure it was dining at Elle et moi , the owner and his wife took great care of us , made us feel like family , I’m originally from Haiti , living in GA and I wanted to try something different during my stay in NC , the egusi goat and fufu was amazing , ordered jollof and tilapia to go , my girl got jollof , spinach and red snapper , everything was a 10/10 , will definitely come back whenever I’m in town. Wanted to try fufu for the first time and this place was perfect. EVERYTHING was great food tasted amazing. Peanut butter chicken was my favorite but everything was delicious

I went here for my birthday (7/12) mainly because I’ve never tried fufu and I so desperately wanted to. From the moment I walked into Elle Et Moi, the owner, Ives, was so incredibly kind. I ordered the smoked turkey egusi and fufu and it was absolutely amazing!!! The pink lemonade that he made was amazing as well. I did let Ives know it was my birthday so prior to me leaving, he brought me out a slice of red velvet cake (my favorite) and him and 2 other customers sang me happy birthday :,). One of the many enjoyable moments that I experienced on my birthday.

I don’t go to Raleigh often, but I will just to go to Elle Et Moi.

Love the food. I get chicken egusi with fufu. A little pricey but thats expected for good homemade food you cant get often. Little bit of a wait but its worth it!

I’ve visited Elle Et Moi Cuisine twice before and really enjoyed the food—both times were great experiences! The in-person service has always been warm and welcoming.

However, my most recent visit was for a takeout order, and unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the quality I had come to expect. It was pretty mediocre this time around, which was disappointing given my previous experiences.

Still giving 3 stars because the in-person service is consistently excellent, and I know they’re capable of much better. Hopefully, it was just an off day for the kitchen.

Absolutely love this spot! Amazing service very respectful nurturing people! The spicy beef patties are perfect — I literally have to get at least two every time I visit. But the real star for me is the coconut black bean rice… if you don’t get anything else, you HAVE to try this rice. It’s hands down the best rice I’ve ever had! Thanks so much, guys — I’ll definitely be back soon!!!

If you need to find vegetarian options, I highly recommend you try Elle Et Moi Cuisine. The food was wonderful and the customer service was top tier. I had the cabbage, black beans and rice, okra and egusi. I’ve never had egusi before or the okra prepared like a stew and it was a delicious experience! I will be making a return visit😊
