Well executed. I like how unique everything feels (ambience and the food). Really enjoyed my corzetti. Maybe the best pasta dish I've had in Raleigh. Excited to come back.Pros (in order of impressiveness):- Service was awesome. Feels very intentional and professional.- Ambience - community table seating was fun. Wish there were more of these in Raleigh.- Food - the pasta dishes were great. Nice selection to choose from and really fresh taste. I liked that they weren't excessively buttery/cheesy as many pasta dishes are at a typical nice Italian restaurant. Good wine selection as well.- Portion sizes were perfect thanks to the service team. For 2 people: 2 starters, 2 pastas, and a dessert was the perfect amount to be full but not stuffedCons:- The starters were fine, but didn't stick out to me as much as the pasta did- Limited dessert menu, but we liked what we got

Outstanding food, amazing cocktails, and great people. We can't recommend this spot enough to any pasta lovers out there. 10/10 recommend the Mafaldine, Doppio Ravioli, and Rigatoni. Also, the Odd But Blue cocktail is out of this world fresh and delicious - perfect for spring/summer.

I have mixed feelings about Figulina. Overall the experience was positive, however there were a few head scratching moments - but certainly nothing that would prevent me from coming back.I must mention first that the staff was very friendly and attentive, and was able to answer any questions we had about the menu. We also enjoyed the space, cozy vibes and a chill atmosphere. For dinner, we had two starters and two pasta dishes. The braised lamb was good, but the bread it came with was quite dense and detracted a bit from the dish. The whipped ricotta was… well we ate the whole thing, but kept wanting more from the dish - more olives maybe? A touch of salt & pepper maybe? Once you got all the elements of these dishes on your fork together, they worked well, but the components themselves seemed lacking at times. Our pasta entrees were great. The depth of flavor in the braised octopus dish was appreciated as was the spice level. The only issue was, ironically enough, the pasta wasn’t cooked through and detracted a bit from the dish. I would definitely get this again, but maybe request that the pasta is well beyond al dente. The bolognese was good, I appreciate the more authentic take on the dish. The pasta was great and paired well with the sauce. However, I was again left wanting more - maybe a touch of creaminess with a dollop of ricotta? A bit of freshness with some parsley?Personally, I’m going to wait a couple months and hope that Figulina irons out the kinks - they are definitely onto something brilliant and I hope they find their stride.Parking: If you want to park quickly, be prepared to pay… otherwise, you will be circling the block for street parking.

Delicious pasta and amaro! They were able to accommodate a vegan diet, so that’s great!

Awesome new restaurant in one of our favorite downtown locations. Pasta was delicious with lots of unexpected flavor profiles. Wine menu was fun and interesting to explore. Service was exceptional and well-paced. We will definitely be back.

Every dish was back to back jaw-dropping. We were literally walking out of the restaurant still talking about the food. On top of that, amazing service and atmosphere. Reasonable pricing on top of that should make it a local staple. This is hands down the best casual dining experience I’ve had in Raleigh in 5 years. I hope they don’t change a thing. Just FYI the lamb rillette is the best dish on the menu and it honestly doesn’t beat the other items by that much, if that describes how good this food is.Dietary restrictions: They inquire about allergies and restrictions prior to serving.Wheelchair accessibility: Main entrance is a ramp.

I unfortunately don’t fully get the hype about this place. The pasta is decent, nothing insane that blew us away.. my mafaldine was clearly under a heat lamp for a while while the other pasta finished - the ceramic was hot to the touch and pasta just warm, not hot. The portions are sad. Especially for what you pay for them. We both got a cocktail and didn’t love them either. Nice folks, but just think the food & drinks fell short for the price we paid.

Well executed at this phase of an early operation. Menu is refined and approachable, nearly something for everyone it seemed. Drink menu has a focus on vermouth apéritifs (refreshing summer spritz style) with bitters and traditional Italian digestifs. We got some plates to share, good portions, and all cooked expertly and served hot by the time it hit the patio table. Service was attentive though still working through some kinks and communication it seems. Great spot for the pasta night out rotation. Looking forward to coming back again soon!

I have never had better pasta in my life. The portions were a good size to try a couple different things. And the panna cotta was to die for. Great patio area and we actually got to watch the pasta being made! Great concept and fantastic food. J+

We sat at the bar and had three pastas, a market greens salad and some cocktails. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. Would definitely recommend and will be back.

Love this place! Raleigh needed a solid Italian restaurant and this place filled that void nicely. Great food, great staff, great atmosphere.
