Filipino Express Restaurant

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Filipino Express, and I can't recommend it enough! Nestled inside a grocery store, this hidden gem serves up delicious Filipino cuisine that is sure to satisfy your appetite. The portions are incredibly generous, making it perfect for anyone looking for a hearty meal.

The staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming, adding to the warm atmosphere. While it may not be a fancy setting, the focus here is on the food, and it truly shines. From savory adobo to mouthwatering lumpia, every dish I tried was bursting with flavor. If you're in the mood for comforting, satisfying food, Filipino Express is the place to go!

You do not see a lot Filipino restaurants and stores compared to other Asian establishments. This is very true on the East Coast vs the West. With that this place is a great spot to by Filipino food brands and get a quick home cooked Filipino meal!

So everywhere I travel I try to find a Filipino restaurant/store. This seemed to be the only one in the area. I was looking forward to trying dinuguan but it didn't look like they had any. I did try the pork adobo which was flavorful and the pinakbet. I like it had a lot of veggies. I did get Shanghai lumpia which was okay. They gave a huge serving of rice. I couldn't eat it all so I brought it back home. It was enough to feed 4 people. I wanted to buy the bread but didn't have enough money on me but it looked good.

Get the bicol express you'll definitely be happy, and if you're feeling bold get the dinuguan, it's perfect. I wish it was closer to my house but its totally worth the drive. There's only a couple of tables and it's tucked in the back of a tiny Asian supermarket so get take out and pick up some other snacks and stuff while you're in there. Dried mangoes are amazing. They've even got balot! Friendly staff, great authentic food, so sarap. Very Filipino!

Hours everywhere online says the restaurant closes at 6, but when you get there, they say it closes at 5 and won’t serve you after then.

Food is good but the customer service is very subpar even if I call in my order I'm always made to wait 10 to 15 minutes for it

The food is amazing. Who cares about the atmosphere. I’m used to liking simple things. 10 for the food. Adobo is sarap(delicious ). I’m coming back soon.

The food here is absolutely AMAZING! Very Authentic and cooks are super nice. I come here 2-3 times a week. Their food is sooo good! Nice portions and worth every buck! Make sure you try the Adobo Chicken & the Steak. You won’t be disappointed at all!

Pretty big portions. I got the chicken adobo and rice for $15. Also picked up sia pao, hopia and mochi in the Frozen section. The lumpia is not what I’m used to so I didn’t get it. Looked more like a Chinese egg roll.

I love this place, the food is absolutely delicious! I have ordered the Beef Adobo,
Pork Adobo, Pancit Canton, Beef in Cocunut sauce, & Squid! I can honestly say every dish I had was so so delicious! I must also add that the staff was so helpful in answering any questions I had. Thank you for the delightful dining experience!
