A friend recommended this place so we stopped by for lunch. We ordered two sopes al pastor, two tacos barbacoa, and a gordita asada (we actually asked for a burrito but somehow got the gordita). The sopes and tacos were solid. Not the best I've had in the area but enjoyable. The gordita was a bit too rich and the meat was tough. Overall, I appreciate the simplicity of the place and their focus on the food. I'd definitely go back but I'd avoid the asada.
I finally made it here! I think this is the best taqueria I've ever been to, and I've been to a lot! The depth of flavor in everything was spot on. I tried a new dish, the potato cactus taco, and it was so delicious. The campechanos were ridiculously tasty. Everything was just so good. The taquito was just ok though. I've been searching for tacos like the ones back home in CA and this is the closest thing to it!!! It's inside a gas station so you know it's good! Also, my 2nd time coming here, the dining room was full and they were all Mexican, if that helps confirm anything for you, let this be it.
