Gonza Tacos Y Tequila offers consistently amazing Mexican cuisine and friendly service in a laid-back atmosphere. Despite slightly smaller portions for the price, the chicken fajitas are excellent. The restaurant is perfect for groups, serving quickly even on busy nights. Customers have always enjoyed the wonderful Mexican food and service provided by the staff. While the food received mixed reviews for lacking flavor and salt, the delicious salsa made up for it. Accessibility might be an issue for some due to a narrow entrance.
The drinks are the main attraction, with some of the better cocktails outside of dedicated bars. Service is very quick but no fluff. The steak tacos are smaller than expected but ended up being the perfect size, with the steak having so much flavor. The lime rice comes out more green than expected but the taste is good. The staff is friendly, though the service can be slower than desired. The food, service, and energy keep customers coming back, with the casual venue welcoming families with babies/small children and dogs on the patio. The chicken tinga tacos are a favorite.
