Always a fun time getting a scoop of ice cream from here before i head to Yates Mill Park for a walk. This time, I had the Caramel mocha flavor - it was really yum. I also enjoy seeing the cows.

I am assuming the "howling" part of the name is because this is an NCSU establishment (Wolfpack).
I have had Howling Cow products at other places throughout Raleigh, and this is the first time at the creamery itself. The grounds are wonderful. There is interior seating, but the star here is the back patio, equipped with rocking chairs and the like, with a large grass area overlooking the cows/farmland. Awesome. There are...

Absolutely delicious ice cream 🍨🍦 with the perfect view of the cows 🐄🐄🐄. Yates Mill is right around the corner, so Howling Cow was a great find after our Mill tour. Stop by. Definitely worth it. More though - they do not accept cash at the registry 🤷, cards only.
