The cookie and ice cream options were very good and expansive. I got the confetti cookies with cookie dough ice cream. It was delicious and I will definitely come back again.
Doesn’t give me cookies for free
5!!! Dollar for one cookie 🍪 this place is insane nope not worth your money sorry costco got wayyy bigger and better cookie for less than 2 dollars
Place was a little dull, not gonna lie. But honestly, the cookies were pretty good. I'd go back again, just for those. Service wasn't anything special, kinda just there. Definitely worth it if you're a cookie monster like me.

Went to get a 12 pack of cookies, asked the lady if she could give me warm cookies, her and the man in the back stated thru couldn’t warm the cookies up because they would burn. They proceeded to give customers that came in after me fresh cookies. I don’t want to say it’s because the color of my skin but that’s what it seemed to me. I tried to call to speak with a manager but no answer.

Let’s just say… save yourself the trip. I came to insomnia after seeing a special they had going on on social media. First of all, the store is SO small, there’s absolutely no room for more than 3 people to be in line at a time. SECOND, the employees are VERY rude, including the manager on duty on 12/5/24. Both managements and employee, were NOT ONLY were they rushing me out the line and to pay after I’ve waited for 10 minutes, cookies were broken inside my bag, my deluxe cookie wasn’t cooked all the way, my classic chocolate chip cookie was small and burnt on the bottom, but DIDNT HAVE CHANGE at all.. how are you having a sale for $1 deluxe cookie but then don’t have any change to give back? (.92 cents at that) I asked the manager “so what’s the next step if you don’t have change?” He told me either I would have to forget the .92 or refund my order. He had no compassion, his deliverance was rude, his tone was arrogant, and his body language screamed “you’re annoying me”…. Yall I know it’s .92 but I worked for that .92… I have a right to care about any money that is mine, little or small. Save yourself the time and go to CRUMBL. I have always had the best experience EVERYTIME I go, from the time I walk in the door, until the time I leave EVEN WHEN THEIR EXTREMELY BUSY!!! Customer Service is damn near more important than the food itself, and insomnia on Hillsborough street is failing leaving me a bad taste in my mouth before I even got to taste the cookies. I’m just really really disappointed to the point I HAD to leave this review hoping someone of higher management will see this. I was excited to go and was in a great mood ready to eat my cookies and watch a show. I DEFINITELY will not be back unless it’s to record these employees and send to corporate.

The cookies are okay, and the regular workers are nice enough. But the manager (or at least I think she is) is the rudest person i have ever encountered. I'm not entirely sure how she got this job.
Rude, condescending, pushy, and unhelpful. Did not know what cookies were available. Could not give me an accurate price. Openly took out her frustration on a coworker. It was bad. And the way she speaks to her staff/coworkers is completely uncalled for. Absolutely awful experience to be there.
I hope they find better management soon, otherwise I will not return.

My roommate and I went out at 12:30am to go get cookies but they were already closed even though it says that they’re supposed to be open until 1:00am. If you live on campus, definitely don’t walk here after 12:00am on 1:00am closing days because you’ll be going back empty handed.

PLEASE READ DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! I REPEAT DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!! Me and some friends wanted to eat get some cookies after visiting our kids in Raleigh. At 7pm, We stopped here and noticed all these boxes across the table where we couldn’t even sit down to eat. As I was ordering, a woman wearing glasses was stressed talking about some truck delivery coming early? Idk. What I do know as that I had heard her say these boxes have been out since around 11am that day. RAW COOKIE DOUGH. COOKIE DOUGH THAT THEY SERVE TO CUSTOMERS!!! I’m beyond disgusted that she openly admitted within ear shot of people who give their hard earned money here that the same cookies we ingest are the ones THAT WERE ON THE GROUND AND LEFT OUT FOR OVER 7 HOURS!! It’s disgusting really and I will NEVER come back. And I will be warning friends and family about this.

Incredibly rude. We ordered from their website and instead of being notified that they couldn't deliver to us, the order was sent to Doordash. The order was marked as delivered but never showed up. We called the store because we ordered through them. The employee was horrendous from the start, too busy joking and giggling with coworkers while on the phone to help at first. Kept cutting me off. Told me I didn't know how to enter my own address because there was no apartment number entered. I explained to her that there is no apartment number - each apartment has its own stand alone address that appears like a house address. She kept saying I was lying and finally getting a refund was pulling teeth. The order says "canceled", but I'm still waiting to see a pending refund.

Insomnia cookies is always a good ideas, it has the best cookies in North Carolina. Cookies are great, ambience is young and fun and service is super fast. If you miss ordering dessert at your fine dine restaurant at Raleigh downtown, insomnia cookies is the best stop to satisfy your sugar cravings. I never order or eat cookies from any other place. Their cookies are freshly made, hot and soft. Do try the peanut butter and chocolate smores.
