Iris Coffee Lab Reviews
I will not give my business to a coffee shop that is going to require a mask for me to make a coffee order. We are no longer under a state of emergency in NC. I will go somewhere else. I do not feel comfortable and do not want to be judged for choosing when to wear a mask. I felt that I was judged when I walked into this coffee shop as the employee asked me to put on a mask before taking my order, so I will not return. It was my first time coming because I’ve heard good reviews...read full review

Iris Coffee Lab in Raleigh is a cozy spot known for its high-quality coffee and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to assist customers in finding the perfect drink. The flat whites are expertly made, with a perfect balance of espresso and milk. The shop is filled with plants and authentic artwork, creating a unique vibe.
The menu offers a variety of options, including a seasonal specialty that is usually quite good, though it may not appeal to everyone's taste. Customers have praised the exceptional quality of the Matcha, which is a must-try. The mango sticky rice Matcha was sensational, and the breakfast bagels were fire, creatively and deliciously executed. The pour-over coffee was fruity, citrusy, and playful, inspiring customers.
While seating is limited and it can get crowded, it's a great place to relax with a delicious cup of coffee. The coffee shop is located in a mixed-use building, with a relaxed ambiance and background music that doesn't overwhelm. However, the concrete floors and other features can contribute to an echoing sound. The place is very minimalistic, which some customers prefer over the maximalist design of other coffee shops in the area.
