Best place for an Italian cold cut hoagie. I say hoagie because that’s where I come from. The Northeast.

My go to! A Deli with outstanding deli favorites - often with a unique flavor accent. The salads, veggies and produce are as fresh as the daily farmers market. Everything is real! Daily soups. Breakfast delights. Lovely wines. Lucky to have Ish in the neighborhood.

We got the Reuben with pastrami and smoked fish sandwich.
I enjoyed the Reuben, I thought it had a good flavor with purple cabbage adding the bit of sour tang to keep the dish from being too heavy. I do prefer softer, more cooked pastrami, but this was still very good.
We also had the smoked fish sandwich. It’s a very salty fish forward type of sandwich. While it wasn’t my personal favorite, I appreciated how balanced the taste was and even though I initially didn’t think I liked it, I kept coming back for another bite!!
This is a great place for a quick lunch! I’m glad I went with a friend so I could split the sandwich and switch up the flavors! I would definitely come back!

One of my fave spots in Raleigh! The staff are always the friendliest and the food is always 10/10!! Love ish
Beat sandwich in Raleigh, hands down. I know because I’m pregnant and have eaten any sandwich I can find :) I’ve been here a dozen times and the consistency doesn’t change. Quality, fresh ingredients make it a 10/10. Turkey Rueben is my favorite. Indoor seating is a bit small, so not ideal for big groups.
My favorite lunch spot in Raleigh! I wish I could review more than just the smoked fish melt, but it's so delicious I can't bring myself to order anything else. Potato salad is fabulous as well.
Great deli to stop in for lunch. I’d recommend the burnt ends potato salad. Try a celery soda if you’re adventurous.
The Reuben was great. Food was fresh and tasty. I will be back on my next visit!

Excellent deli - ish in a super cool area of Raleigh. This little deli is everything it says it is. My husband & I shared two wonderful sandwiches - we appreciated how hot & steaming the Reuben came out. The Babagan (ish) was super tasty & unique. Loved that it wasn’t the traditional type of babaganoush (which can often have too much mayo & garlic). Fairly priced, large sized. Good Vibes all around and we would definitely go back!
