Met a couple of friends for dinner and the experience was unsatisfactory. Server was excellent however I had a piece of plastic in my pork tenderloin and kitchen manager was very rude and not concerned at all.

Meals can be pricey, but the fresh taste and menu options make it worth it. The great atmosphere and service are an added bonus. Try them, you won't regret it.

The atmosphere is great, and the food is both delicious and reasonably priced. One thing that really stood out was the attentive service. it's rare to find a restaurant in Raleigh with so many waitstaff. I also appreciated their sleek black uniforms, which added a nice touch to the overall vibe. The manager was incredibly friendly and made a point to walk to each table to check in with customers, ensuring everyone was satisfied.

I had ribs at J Alexanders. And they were amazing. So much so I didn't even reheat the food. My leftovers my daughter simply started eating. That's how you know. Food is good when it hasn't a heated up and it's still tastes great. The only complaint that I would have that that we waited almost an hour. And they don't do anything special for birthdays. This was my time coming. And so I would've hoped that they would make some type of exception. But the server was really nice and to the great care of us.

Don't waste your time. Worst experience ever. Food was mediocre at best. Save your money and go to Ruth Chris's steakhouse

My dear friend and I dined here last night. It was an amazing experience. We were greeted by 2 hostesses that were extremely welcoming and polite. We were seated quickly! Our server, ANTHONY, was SPECTACULAR!!! He was funny, knowledgeable of the menu, efficient and professional. He can sell an entree for sure (haha)!! The assistant manager Ryan made sure all of our accommodations were met and we enjoyed a small chat with him as well. The ambience of the establishment was very chill, calming. Also, I’m not a carrot cake girl but definitely recommend anyone to give theirs a try. Kudos to great service, awesome employees and delicious food. 5 out of 5 J Alexander’s Raleigh!

If you go somewhere and pay $50 for a steak, you expect for it to be cooked correctly . Then the manager comes over while I’m on a call trying to talk to me. Couldn’t even eat all of it, too tough. Manager allowed me to pay full price for a steak that wasn’t cooked correctly.

Do not go to this restaurant if you're a black person. They are in litigation for allegedly making a black woman give up her seat so that two white men could sit there. They will never get another one of my pennies. If you're any other race and you give them your money then you approve of this type of behavior.

I went here for my birthday and I was excited because I was from out of town and I had never eaten there, unfortunately I was sadly disappointed with the service I received. My food wasn’t cooked to my liken and then when I asked them to redo it I was told they can only make steak one temp!!!! Then my group wasn’t able to sit together because they claimed due to some stupid spotlight all their tables have to stay together BUT we all had to pay on one tab even though we couldn’t all sit together!!! This was BY FAR the WORSE experience I have ever had in a restaurant!!!!! I will NOT be BACK!! I WILL NOT recommend anyone to ever come here!!!

Was really let down by this place with all the good reviews. Asked for medium rare but my wife and I’s steak were overcooked almost well done. Desperately needed salt and seasoning. Tasted like a low-grade steak. And that chimichurri on top just tasted sour. Longhorn and Texas Roadhouse were better, sadly
