About The Optimist Raleigh

The Optimist Raleigh at Crabtree Terrace is a welcoming coffee spot, popular for its iced vanilla oat milk latte. The atmosphere is pleasant, offering various seating options, including an outdoor area. The baked goods selection is yet to be explored, but the drink and food options are solid. The coffee shop is bright and modern, with a private phone booth for taking calls/meetings and a small private room that seats about 4 people. It can get busy, so seating can sometimes be limited. The coffee, using Black and White beans, is great, and the baristas know their stuff. The shop has a cozy vibe, with a lot of plants, making it a good place to meet up or work from home. The bathrooms are very clean, with changing tables. Espresso drinks are a favorite, and the food, though a little high-priced, is quality and tasty.

This location has a great selection of coffee with friendly baristas and welcoming service. It's always clean and usually pretty busy when people visit. It's one of the favorite coffee spots - great for hanging out, studying, or teleworking. As a plant lover, the indoor plants are well cared for and add a really nice vibe. The iced latte is delicious, however, it can take some time to receive. The decor is cute with ample indoor and outdoor seating options. Easy parking and great location to access the greenway.

Love the cafe and overall vibe. Lots of plants, books, games, and pleasant places to sit and enjoy your drinks. Tried two espresso drinks - unfortunately both were bitter and overheated. Didn't inquire about the beans as I didn't detect enough flavor to be interesting. They've got a smallish selection of interesting things to nibble on. Overall a really nice cafe so I'll come back and hope the espresso improves.

Such a great coffee shop!! Abby helped me find an amazing pour over. Highly recommend!

This place is by far the best coffee shop in all of RDU. The staff are EXTREMELY friendly and kind. Maggie gives of some of the best energy ever, Sloan is so much fun and works very hard, Lauren makes the best Lattes I’ve ever had, Brooke is always so ready to talk to you about your day, Dani is the sweetest person ever and her stories are always very exciting, and Grace literally spoke with me for about 20 minutes straight and brought my coffee to my seat, and she’s...read full review
