Everytime I go the food and service get worse and worse. Think I’m done.

This place is a joke. Supposedly they stop serving breakfast at 11:00 a.m. that's what the girl told me when I called at 9:00 a.m. and that's what the recording says when you call them. I call at 11:15 and they tell me that they don't stop serving breakfast until 12:00 because they are too lazy to switch over and take a regular food order. And it doesn't help that the other location doesn't even answer their phone.

Breakfast was delicious

The food was good. The wait was longer than expected. The lemonade is touched with sugar that the ancestors are still questioning. They were out of the desert I wanted and I decided not to get any desert so I am not able to comment on the pastries. They only have beef ribs one day a week and they do not offer fried turkey wings.

Recommended dishes: Chicken Wings, Potato Salad

I can't believe I've been living 10 minutes from this place for 15 years, and never knew it was there. Now I'll never forget it.

Delicious fried okra and catfish sandwich 😋 Elijah and Sharone were friendly and very patient with customers. On a hot day like today they could’ve easily been irritated but they kept the energy calm while everyone waited for the good eats.

No matter what time of day you go there, they always run out of different foods!!! They don't have ice for your drinks. They never did!!! They sell 6 ounce bottles of kool-aid for $3.75 that are lukewarm!!! They keep it in a refrigerator that barely works!!!! Absolutely very very horrible management!!!! How does a soul food restaurant run out of soul food?!!!!! Anyone who goes there knows what I'm talking about!!!! Very poor management!!!! Get rid of whoever they are!!! Very poor management!!!

This place is completely out of control, especially when the younger staff are working. There seems to be very little professionalism or respect for customers.
I called and was placed on hold for 15–20 minutes. During that time, I could hear every conversation going on in the restaurant because the phone was simply set down instead of being properly placed on hold. To make matters worse, when another call came in, they answered that customer and took their order while I was still waiting.
I hung up and called back, only to be put on hold again. The customer service was extremely disappointing and lacked basic courtesy and professionalism.
I will not be returning, nor will I recommend this place to anyone.

Steak with rice and gravy, turnip greens, lima beans with corn was DELICIOUS!!!!

Really outstanding fried chicken and seafood! I thought Smithfield’s was the best place to go for fried chicken, but, I have to say Jacks is even better! We will be going there a lot more!
