“The staff is overwhelmed. I had a side of oxtails that was missing and my plantains were missing.
There was also a mix-up with my order. I had to come back and pick up an order of Curry chicken. They had given me jerk chicken instead. I asked the server if this was the order that had to be redone, but he just stared at me and didn't say anything. I got back to Knightdale they had given me an order of scraps of curry chicken no dark meat or white meat. This is why I don't go there as much anymore.“

Portions were generous, easily justifying the $30 price tag, and the value was matched by the warm, welcoming service. The shopkeep was incredibly friendly, offering genuine hospitality and a smile that made the experience feel even more like home. You can tell she really cares about the food that was made.

This is food made with love, heritage, and serious culinary skill. If I closed my eyes, I could almost hear the waves of the Caribbean Sea and feel the warmth of the Jamaican sun.
