The curry goat was incredibly tender, falling apart effortlessly, infused with a deep, rich curry flavor that speaks to hours of careful preparation and seasoning. Equally outstanding was the oxtail ; truly to die for, with a slow-cooked depth that bursts with bold, savory Caribbean spices.

The cabbage was a pleasant surprise: perfectly cooked, subtly seasoned, and providing a fresh balance to the richness of the meats. Paired with fluffy, fragrant rice and peas, this meal hit every note; comforting, satisfying, and utterly delicious.

Portions were generous, easily justifying the $30 price tag, and the value was matched by the warm, welcoming service. The shopkeep was incredibly friendly, offering genuine hospitality and a smile that made the experience feel even more like home. You can tell she really cares about the food that was made.
