“The food is AMAZING! The jerk wings were so well-seasoned and flavorful. The sides are delicious— I’m no vegetarian, but I would’ve been satisfied with a plate of their rice and beans, cabbage, and plantains. The beef patty was appropriately spicy and had a nice flaky crust. I’ll definitely be back!“
“Me and my cousin was in Durham from Goldsboro and decided to try them out was craving Jamaican food. Was skeptical at first but the food was really good especially the cabbage NEVER change your recipe on them. I had jerk chicken not spicy at all though good but where is the spice? Jerk chicken should have some kick to it! Plantains were great oxtails were alright just ran out so I didn’t get much and I personally love thicker ox tails but I understand most places only serve the small flat ones. My cousin said the salmon was good but dry but flavored well and the pork chop was also dry and ok. I liked the macaroni and cheese it was pretty good. Overall I would eat here again it was worth it to me to dine again!“
“The space is a nice and clean space for take out or dine in. The dining area had ample amount of tables and chairs, but I can see them filled to capacity, fast. Lots of customers were sitting, relaxing, chatting - waiting on their food. Be patient because it takes a while for your food to come out. They appear to be really busy on Saturdays; on this particular Saturday, they got so busy that the attendant announced that she wouldn't be taking anymore orders at the register, and everyone in line that wanted to order, would have to order on the kiosk. The attendant was courteous, and helpful. We ordered the red snapper, rice & peas, cabbage, jerk chicken, mac n cheese, beef patty, and spinach patty. They give you alot of food, enough to maybe eat twice. They offer a few vegetarian options, and they offer red snapper if you're looking for a pescaterian option.Vegetarian options: Angie's Jamaican Grill offers a few vegetarian items, and they have red snapper if you are pescaterian.“
