My Jamaican mom was visiting here, and we were visiting our Jamaican family, and boy the food was so good! We had the curried goat, oxtail, rice and peas, fried plantains, baked mac and cheese and cabbage! The goat and oxtail were so tender, just how it should be! Very unprofessional. Prices different from the board and food wasn’t very good.
😍 Had brown stew chicken and ox tails! Food was fresh! Order was accurate. Ox tails were a good size and didn't look sliced (iykyk).
Value was on point for what I received (quality and portion size)

Based on the reviews, Angie's Jamaican Grill serves the best Jamaican food in North Carolina. The food is made with love and heart, and Angie is very welcoming. The oxtails are delicious and tender, falling off the bone. The mac and cheese is superb and a 10/10. The cabbage is delicious and very good. The rice is always good, especially with the oxtail gravy. The jerk chicken and pork trays are large, enough for at least two sittings. The curry chicken, curry goat, and jerk chicken are also very good and fresh. Portion sizes are generous, and one plate can feed two people. The spice level is phenomenal. The service is quick, and the young lady at the register was a sweetie. The restaurant is worth the drive, and customers are already planning their next visit.
