The service and energy was very low vibrational. In return, the jerk chicken and jerk patty were overcooked (burnt). I paid 25+ and she wanted me to pay 1 for 1 extra jerk sauce. Again, the energy was all wrong and vibrations low. Not one smile and the food was not worth the money. Based on the previous reviews these people dont care about anything but getting your money. If you dont like your job and/or the people you need to find another one. Who ever the owner is, they need to take a business ethics class and a cooking class. Do better or go back where you came from!!

We ordered from grunhub Ave then called the restaurant. Unfortunately the woman who answered going up on me after I stated the plate was missing the oxtail. She said it should have 2 oxtail because they are expensive. I paid for what I requested and Unfortunately received all the vegetables without the meats. Wish them the best but this was not it!

I ordered Curry goat. Peas and rice., coco bread and honey butter corn bread with 2 pineapple soda
I asked her was the LG enough for 2 people she said yes and that the curry goat only come in LG. I was like ok great 👌🏽. She read the ordered back to me I said yep you got it. I said I'll wait at the bench instead of my car.
10 to 15min later she told me it was ready I checked my order and got ONLY the bread I asked her where's the meal
She then said oh Im out of it! I thought you heard me. Ma'am you never once said you was out of anything. You know what I paid for the bread and drinks and left. NEVER AGAIN. 1 and done.
Why would I wait 10 to 15min for a couple pieces of bread???

Customer service sucks here it really does. The lady act like she don’t want to be bothered with people when you are working on a food truck. It’s no southern hospitality here at all.

One of the best Jamaican food trucks Iโve had thus far in N.C,food is always fresh, great quality and authentic
It's a food truck in the Marathon parking lot. Those oxtail patties were hitting. Have lunch chicken specials Tuesday thru Friday.

I recently moved to raleigh from NYC looking for authentic home cooked Jamaican food. I usually settle for Golden Krust out here because I know what to expect but in NYC we only go to Golden Krust for the patties forreal especially if you grew up in a Jamaican household. I grew up with a grandma and 9 aunts cooking oxtail in their own way. I've flown to Jamaican and ate oxtail from yaad so I've defiantly had some delicious oxtail. I got tired of bland oxtail from Golden Krust so I tried something different today. The oxtail from this restaurant was very unseasoned and a waste of money. It's hard to believe a Jamaican cooked this. All of the reviews stating these oxtail are good must be from people who have never been to Jamaica or been invited to a Jamaican household for dinner. If you like paying $30+ for tiny flavorless oxtails, mostly bones, mostly fat and pimento seeds in every single bite this is the place for you! They give a lot of gravy but who wants gravy that taste like spicy water basically. I expect this from an americanized yankee food chain like Gold Krust not a independent Jamaican spot. I won't be back.

Tastes just like Jamaica!! I had the jerk chicken and ribs combo with Mac and cheese and rice. 10/10
I happened upon this place after my usual Jamaican Restaurant was closed. I had the Oxtail with collards and rice and beans. This meal was so....delicious! Oxtails succulent, juicy and tender ๐. Collards so tender and flavorful, a little bit more on the spicy side which gave them an extra kick. Beans and rice, chewy yet soft.
Perfect consistency. Only thing I would like to see added is more kidney beans to the rice. I highly recommend you swing by and grab a meal that will not dissappoint!

I'm a critic of Georgia and Raleigh cuisine. When I tried this food, the collards were the orange can collards with added spice which I personally do not enjoy, not a fan of collards of any make. I did not like the rice grain but the rice was good. Chicken was dry which indicated to me that someone must've complained about the jerk sauce being too little or none at all so they separate it and put it in a little tin but chicken tasted good put together. Jerk patty not my favorite. This is a Jamaican soul food spot so they may hit to regular Americans but my personal opinion is true to how I experience the food today. Personally I go to Georgia to get Jamaican cuisine and not Raleigh. Raleigh has wonderful, flavorful, true taquerias and tiendas so it never disappoints me. Taco trucks hit my soul.
