Just absolutely love, love, love, this little store. The food from the little restaurant smells so mouthwatering. I have to travel an hour and a half just to get here. It's the closest store with korean foods. People there are so friendly. When I hear the Korean language spoken, it reminds me and takes me back to my childhood with my Korean mother and her friends.

I went there with really high expectations, but the taste was so-so. There was no meat or tuna in the $15 kimchi stew, and the only protein was tofu.
We came here twice for the shaved ice. The first time, we were told the machine was not working. Before our second visit, we called to confirm whether the machine was working, and they said yes. However, after driving 30 minutes to the restaurant, we were told once again that it was still not working. Such a romantic experience on Valentine's Day.

I made a mistake going there my first time.
A place in order to go and I had no idea that the order would be served to me cold.
I don't think it was supposed to have been served home they have one that was served hot on a stone plate if you were going to eat in so I assume that the one that you would take out would be hot as well.
I immediately contacted them within 2 minutes and there was no consideration whatsoever.
They appear to be the type of restaurant where there is no customer satisfaction or no consideration for individuals coming there for the first time nor did the cashier explain that the dinner
Would be served cold served cold not hot to go.
Today's weather cool and not likely that anyone would want to be served cold food including the egg was cold.
There's something very wrong with this picture.
I do not look like them and I think that was a factor.
Never again!

The restaurant has very good food, but it's expensive. Otherwise I'd give 4 stars.
I also like the grocery section.

Kim’s Restaurant is truly a hidden gem, and it easily serves the best Korean food I’ve had in the entire RTP area. The flavors here are authentic, bold, and unforgettable. The squid and pork dish is an absolute standout—it’s a must-have for anyone visiting. Unlike other places where the sauce can be too sweet or overpowering, this dish is perfectly balanced. The savory flavors come through beautifully, making every bite more delicious than the last.
Another highlight was the seafood noodle soup. The spice level was spot on, not overwhelming but just enough to give it that perfect kick, while still allowing the fresh, seafood flavors to shine through. The broth was rich and flavorful, and it’s clear a lot of care went into crafting this dish.
One of the best things about Kim’s is that the portion sizes are very generous, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable compared to other Korean restaurants in the area. You get incredible value for your money, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. It’s hard to find such great food at these prices, especially with portions that will leave you fully satisfied.
From the moment you walk in, the incredible aroma hits you, promising an authentic dining experience. You can immediately tell that this is the real deal, especially if you’re familiar with traditional Korean or Asian cuisine. Every dish we tried was delicious, and it’s easy to see the attention to detail in the cooking.
If you’re in the mood for top-tier Korean food, this is the place to go. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates authentic flavors, quality dishes, and great value. Kim’s Restaurant deserves all the praise—it’s a place I’ll be coming back to often!

Favorite local Korean restaurant!
Food tastes pretty authentic. But the waiting is relatively long. More like a self serve cafeteria

I’ve been here twice now and the food has been great both. Presentations look simple but it’s fresh and has great flavors. I love the Korean rice cake dishes so this one was pretty good. Spicy but not too spicy. I also recommend the short ribs. Savory with a touch of sweetness. I do think it’s worth the price since we always leave with leftovers. Half a point off bc it gets really stuffy inside. Hopefully they can expand and give the customers a bit more room. I would definitely come back to try their chicken wings.
