This place is amazing if you want authentic Mexican food. If you order chips you get them almost immediately, and they cook and prepare the food just the right way. This will be my go to Mexican restaurant.

This is one of the best restaurants to visit in the Raleigh area. This is in my top five list of restaurants to go out to eat. The bartender and servers are all amazing individuals. They will take their time to get to know you and try and make your experience worthwhile. They are very accommodating for food allergies and will be more than happy to correct any order detail. The everyday drink specials are extremely good and during special events when the towers are available, I would highly recommended. Sitting at the bar is an experience within itself. David the bartender is always smiling and always cracking jokes for those days that you need them. The other bartender Judy, is very friendly and makes you feel at home. They will both go out of their way just to add a small touch to anything that you may want or need. Bathrooms are very clean and parking is easy to find.

La Rancherita is so good , some of the best Mexican food!This location in Raleigh is my spot . Luis is a very nice guy , he’s the manager and the waitresses are all such sweet hearts and the waiters are nice as can be ! I have a family member who lives 5 min from here , she eats here twice a week . Their nachos are excellent , they have some of the best drinks , they serve some amazing tasting enchiladas

All day menu means *dinner* prices. Had the Chori pollo and was disappointed. Maybe this was a one off because I’ve been there in the past and it was good.

Cant recommend. Paid 20 dollars for 3 tiny tacos. Food was good but the value is awful. Save your money and go to a taqueria.

Took my sis out and we had got the most simplest thing nachos. I also had cheese sauce while we wait. ALL LUKE WARM NOTHING WAS HOT. It took near 20 mins before we had someone come get our order for drinks. I started looking up other places to eat but i stayed. After we order it still took almost 20 mins for beef nachos with only beef and cheese and another beef nachos all the way. We at the food still and the manager could tell that I was disappointed and did nothing.

Food was decent, but was bland. The vegetables selection in the fajitas was good lot just the onions and green peppers. Service was good and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Dismal service. Our group of 8 arrived after 1:30 for a late lunch. There were only 3 other tables seated. The service was absolutely AWFUL. Had to ask for things multiple times. We ordered 4 different appetizers to share among the 8 of us. The appetizers arrived and no one at the table had plates. We asked for plates, he brought us 4 plates total. Then he acted offended when we said we all needed a plate. We spent over $350 on food and drinks, and the service never got any better. I would think they would take better care of a table who is spending what we were spending. Definitely will not be back.

Could not have been a worse. The margaritas were over salted and overly sweet. The chicken was so rubbery I couldn’t even chew it. I have never had a worse experience at a Mexican restaurant where the portions were so small in comparison. Will never be back!

Only leaving 5 stars because my server, Jose, and the food were spectacular. Male host was very nice as well. The female hostess was rude and dismissive. I’m sure she’s great at her job and I watched her be nice to multiple parties but she wasn’t hospitable to me.

Why waste your money at this location when you can spend it at the location by Crabtree? Here, you get significantly smaller portions than the one at Crabtree, but you’re spending the same amount. After 3 times, I’ll stick with the Crabtree location.
