Yes LBC is a private club but it is a necessity for operation and it's very reasonable annual dues are typically combined with first night attendance. What is more important is the atmosphere of welcome and acceptance to dancers who want to share an evening of West Coast Swing on Fridays and Carolina Shag on Saturday. Once you experience an evening of dancing at Deborah and Gary's club you will come every Friday as the highlight of your week.
Loafers.... it's fabulous! There was a mixture of people of all ages. Everyone was having good, clean fun. The music was great! The food was delicious. The bar tender was very efficient and fast. Friendly people in a friendly atmosphere. No better place to socialize and partner dance than here in Raleigh. Wednesday a simple dinner included with dancing until the crowd leaves to Shag, WCS, cha cha, and the occasional Two Step. Thursday is Two Step night. Friday is WCS, and Saturday is Shag. It's a membership club with a low annual fee and a full bar with reasonable prices.
