Too cold but free hot apple cider.
Just add rum, you'll be fine.

Food was very good, however, for the price the portion was incredibly small. Not so much that the price was unbelievable, but I did not receive $24 worth of food. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Outdoor heaters are provided on cold days.

We went early on a Saturday afternoon and were easily able to get table. We had brisket sandwiches, pimento cheese hushpuppies, and crackers and pimento cheese. For the price this was a great value, there were good servings and the sandwiches were loaded. The food was outstanding. The sandwiches were really good and the brisket had a wonderful taste. The french fries were good enough to stand on their own. The pimento cheese was outstanding. The service was quick and helpful. I enjoyed the outdoor seating. I will definitely be back soon!

I don’t normally write reviews but the people need to know. The bbq was NOT good. I’m so sorry. I really tried to like it. The service was great, the atmosphere was nice but I really did not enjoy anything I ate.

(Heads up that this review is for a takeout order.) I placed an online as part of a school fundraising event and got two junior cheeseburger meals with fries, a ribbler sandwich entree with esquite, a side of cornbread, 5 chicken wings, and a piece of chocolate chess pie. The cheeseburgers and ribbler were just okay - nothing to cheer about. The cornbread and honey butter tasted moist and not overly sweet which I enjoyed. Unfortunately, no one in our family wanted to finish the wings because the skin was very rubbery and chewy, but to be fair, that may have been a result of having been sitting in sauce for a 25 min. commute from downtown to N. Raleigh. Had it not been for the school fundraiser, we wouldn’t have tried the food, but we will definitely not be coming back voluntarily.

We had been wanting to come here for a while since it looked like a cool place, but it was very disappointing. The service is below average, just generally slow and low energy. Some of dishes were ok, but majority of what we got was disappointing. The brisket sandwich was ok, but the ribs were terrible, very chewy and rough. All the sides were below average or bad, with the exception of the sweet potatoes that were the one really good dish. Atmosphere is cool though with the outdoor seating and TVs, but that was the first and last time we will be going there.

This was our second time giving this place a chance — the first time we came, they were closed for a private event. We decided to try again, but honestly, we should’ve skipped it. Our waitress had a terrible attitude the entire time — rolling her eyes and smirking every time we asked for something. Almost all of the meats, which are the restaurant’s specialty, were sold out, and the only one that was actually available, she initially said was “out” with a smile, then quickly retracted. Instead of apologizing, she looked irritated and annoyed by our presence. Even when we tried to be polite and be the bigger person, she brushed it off like she couldn’t care less.
The food itself actually tasted really good, but the portions were tiny — more like kids’ meals. Between the attitude, lack of professionalism, and small portions, it just wasn’t worth the experience.

Absolutely fantastic pulled pork and the sides were equally good. (The esquites!!!) Highly recommend, cocktails were very good as well.

They had the perfect NC vinegar BBQ sauce as well as a wonderful Carolina Gold sauce.

Service / atmosphere all smooth and friendly.

My family and I went to Longleaf Swine for the first time last Friday night. It was a great experience. We found nearby parking and were seated immediately. We loved the outdoor seating. The barbecue items were delicious and a good portion. The atmosphere was very enjoyable and the service was very timely and often. The servers were very pleasant and accommodating. The bill was very reasonable. We will be going again soon.
