We had Longleaf Swine catered for Nurses week. The brisket was delicious, one of the best I've had. loved the mustard sauce and mac n cheese. Very good, 10/10 recommend
Cool location with great food. Was super kid friendly with high chair and multiple staff members checked on us to see how we were doing throughout dinner.

One of the, if not THE, best Eastern NC BBQ in Raleigh. The pork, brisket, and smash burger are all spot on tasty. That Carolina Gold sauce....MMMM. The sides complete this 5 star rating. Friendly staff and great outdoor space.

Food was not worth the price. Got the ribbler and there was more sauce than meat. At $15 for a sandwich I want to taste meat. The pimento cheese hushpuppies were bland. No kick in the cheese and the batter tasted like flour. I’ve been here before and raved about the food so I’m sad to see the quality diminished.

First time going there and will not be the last. My wife ordered the brisket sandwich with the roasted sweet potatoes and I had the pulled pork sandwich w/the esqitas.
My wife couldn't stop raving about the sweet potatoes. She was very impressed with her sandwich.
My pulled pork was moist and not overly smoked. The esqitas was a nice compliment to my sandwich.
We will definitely be back!

My sister and I ate lunch there today. The BBQ sandwich was wonderful. It had a good smoky flavor
and the bun was fantastic. Best ever!

Tonight was my 2nd visit in the last 2 weeks… probably my new favorite BBQ in downtown Raleigh. The atmosphere is very relaxed with a few tables inside (plus the bar) and plenty of covered (and heated) seating outside. Plenty of free parking around back which is a huge plus for the lunch rush. The pulled pork is smoky and tender, the slaw was perfectly portioned and the Union Special buns are insane! Very friendly wait staff and our food arrived in less than 10 minutes both times. Do not sleep on Longleaf Swine… it’s the real deal.

One of our favorite places to take visitors to Raleigh! Great options, great atmosphere. I’m gluten free and always eat here confident that I won’t be sick afterwards! Our friends love the quick but delicious food, the option to sit outside, and the great location!

Friendly staff, large portions, very tasty food, sweet potatoes, Frito pie, brisket sandwich, corn chowder with 🥓! Ordering via app at the table was fast, beers served in under a minute! It's a very casual place, inside and outside seating.

The Triangle BBQ scene just keeps improving. Another great place to swing in. Ribs and Collards were top notch.

I’m torn! Great food, but a painfully impersonal experience.
The food was really good! We had brisket (excellent!), sweet potatoes (fancy and amazing!), corn bread (so good!), Brunswick stew (very meaty & a little tangy, just how I like it!), and the half-sour style pickles are a treat!! Four sauces are provided (sweet, tangy, vinegar, and mustard) to suit every taste, and they were all quite good! The environment and aesthetic are fun! Everything is clean and well maintained. There are lots of veg options which sounded delicious!
The dining experience, however, was disappointing in how impersonal it was. To be clear, the people working were very friendly when I saw them, and I had no negative interactions! BUT, I had almost no interactions at all! You seat yourself, you order on your phone by scanning a QR code on the table, and water is available at a self-serve station. The first person I spoke to was the person who brought our food. I had questions about the menu and nobody to ask. I’m an introvert and I don’t want to be hounded by a waiter, but this is too disconnected even for me.
Then, when paying (again, by myself, on my phone), I was prompted for a 18, 20, or 25% tip?! I’m sure this is a default through ‘Toast’, the payment app they use, but it just felt a bit greedy.
To their credit, there was some signage at the entrance instructing people to seat themselves and find the QR codes, etc., but it’s still not the experience I look for when dining out. This just feels like a modern take on cafeteria style service.
I would consider coming here for a take-away meal. Not sure I’ll be back to dine in.

You’ll enjoy this spot for a casual meal! Slightly elevated barbecue and southern cooking in a laid back atmosphere at good prices. This is a go to for a quick meal with options for everyone. Not too fancy, not too gritty, just right for a regular drop in with any crowd. The food is always great here and the staff are friendly. Plenty of outdoor seating.
