The building itself is a bit old but really charming, the air was filled with lots of delicious aroma. The food was top notch, the chicken was juicy yet nicely smoked, the chaufa was flavorful and not greasy, yucca fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Mami Nora catered a Mothers Day event with grilled chicken, arroz chufa, maduros and corn, with the house special yellow and green sauces. Mami's Chicken is the best in Raleigh, with an incredible oven that keeps the chicken juicy, tender, and full of flavor even after reheating. The zesty sauce, perfectly cooked rice, and the coleslaw complete the experience. The price was comparable with other Peruvian chicken places, yet the value of what you get far exceeded the pricing.
