Expensive for some very mediocre food. We ordered one of the signature 40oz drinks and for the 30$ price tag I expected it to be loaded.. it was not. I would have felt less bad about the near 100$ price for two people if I was drunk.

Food was ok. Service was just ok. I would have ordered more drinks but the music was way too loud. Really sad because it seemed like a nice place. I would have had a good time and stayed for more margaritas if the music wasn't so loud. Absolutely not worth it. Not sure why they would blast music this loud. There were only about 10 people in the place on a Saturday night with UFC fight. There are plenty good Mexican restaurants in Raleigh. Just go somewhere else.

First when getting there the lady up front so rude says they close at 11:00 minding on the door it says 12:00 and it was just about to be 10:00 when we got there. Then they sat us on the porch let me mind you plenty of tables inside!!! Then they said they can seat us inside if we pay $35 each for the band that was playing. Like no we had came previously 3 weeks ago and we got sat inside and they had band like what change they can’t afford a band?!? Then why bring it and make customers pay like other restaurants have never done that before or even them but now they do all of sudden charge. Then our server was rude from the start, I was going to tip her but not like I would normally do for good service but she charged me an automatic gratuity for two people being $70 dollars when all we ordered was two $20 dollar meals and water like so expensive last time ever going there!! Just so disappointed.

The food is very fresh, nice size portions. The service is ok, it was not very busy when we were there so all of the servers were just sitting around the bar talking.

From the the time you enter the front door its a very pleasurable experience.The place is a treat for your eyes and your taste buds! The staff are amazing. The seafood and the sauces are incredible.Just the flavor and the thought that went into the Grilled mixed vegetables that come on your plate blew my mind!Their attention to detail on everything is a ?!Check out the images of all of their prepared dishes!!

The mussels in a garlic butter sauce is absolutely devine and you must order the grilled red snapper. The food is delicious. I will be returning to try other dishes. And the Server named Oliver is the best. He's nice and very accommodating but not too much. He did an awesome job.

Me and my husband and our kids came around 5pm and as soon we walked in there’s like 4 or 5 workers all at the front podium just waiting lol. I was surprised it was pretty empty for a Friday evening. The hostess walked us to our table but it was right under the speaker which was blaring LOUD music. I was shouting to get my husband’s attention and he couldn’t hear me. He asked if it was possible to turn it down and they did turn it down some. It was still way too loud. Our kids were both crying, so we told our server we would have to find someplace else. She hurried to turn down the music more, but we just told her maybe we would come back another time without kids. I understand it’s Friday evening but there was only one other table there. If it’s more of a club/nightlife type restaurant they should put a sign outside that says it’s “ladies night” etc or something like that. I’m so disappointed. We used to love Mi Cancun.

Don’t go for chips and salsa, they give you hard tortillas as chips. The soda tasted like bleach, and the food was over salted. In the women’s bathroom, the first toilet was missing a seat. Lots of food options but very overpriced. Overall, subpar and won’t be back.

Great selection of drinks. I had a spicy jalapeño margarita and the flight of margaritas. The bartender carefully garnished all my drinks to make sure that they were perfect. Food was very fresh and delicious. The chefs accommodated for my wife’s dietary restrictions. Staff was very friendly. Will definitely come back when in the area.
