Dropped in for a quick lunch in one of the oldest restaurants in Raleigh and we were not disappointed. The menu hasn’t changed much in 95 years. Lunch specials were great value. Our server (Leif?) was one of the nicest and most genuine people we had met. You can really get a feel for what Raleigh was like in the past. Great experience.
Went here for a quick lunch and had such a pleasant experience! Our server Reid was a joy, so attentive and didn’t make us feel rushed at all. The food was delicious and portions were amazing! Highly recommend to anyone!
I love the Mecca. The building and decor are amazing, the interior is like a time machine back to the 1920s. I love eating in the booths or there is great people watching if you eat outside. The foods is really good. I get the daily special a lot; my favorites are Monday's meatloaf and Wednesday's lemon herb chicken. The specials come with 2 sides and a drink for $12 so it is a fantastic deal. The other food on the menu is excellent as well. The service is very friendly,...
