Morelia Ice Cream Paletas - Raleigh

My recent visit left me with mixed feelings, largely due to operational challenges rather than the ice cream itself. Upon arrival, it was evident that the establishment was severely understaffed. A single worker was valiantly attempting to manage every aspect of the busy store, from scooping ice cream to handling payments, all while a continuous line formed both inside and outside. This individual was truly doing it all, and it created a noticeable strain on the service, despite their best efforts to remain polite and efficient under pressure. Management and ownership should seriously investigate this staffing issue and consider compensating this dedicated employee for the extraordinary workload they endured. As for the ice cream, it was decent. The flavors I tried were pleasant enough, offering a satisfying treat. However, the main disappointment stemmed from the unavailability of their much-hyped "Dubai Chocolate" flavor. This particular item is heavily boosted across all their social media channels, leading me to believe it was a signature offering. To find it out of stock was quite a letdown, especially when it seemed to be a primary draw for many customers. In summary, while the ice cream itself is respectable, the overall experience was significantly impacted by the staffing situation and the absence of a highly advertised specialty. Addressing these issues would undoubtedly elevate the customer experience.

Nice little shop for refreshing dessert ice cream popsicles. Plenty of flavors to choose from and toppings as well for you to combine however you please. The flavors tasted like fresh ingredients and not artificially flavored. I definitely recommend if you are in the area for a quick dessert fix.

Wow paletas are sooo good. I was really impressed had the vanilla bean chocolate crunch with coconut. The only thing was the customer service. Not very friendly.

We have tried to visit two pror times but could not find parking until tonight.

I had the vegan cookies and cream hazelnut dipped in cookie butter and Graham cracker crumbs. It was decllicious and we will be back. But not at at time Glenwood South is busy so we can find parking ?

What a great place! A fun and tasty menu and great service. Yum!

We happened across here after a horrible experience at a milk shake shop a few blocks away. Morelia came through with tasty treats that saved our family evening out. I would highly recommend. They were quick to accommodate gluten free needs with several delicious options.

I’d never even heard of a Paleta let alone tried one, but these were delicious!! Make sure you look at the topping and dipping options before you choose your base so you plan out the combo of flavors. Also I wish they had told us beforehand but you don’t HAVE to have them dipped and topped you can just get the ice cream bar part by itself.

We tried the passionfruit with condensed milk as well as the pistachio. Both half dipped in white chocolate and topped with coconut on the passionfruit and pistachio on the pistachio. Both were creamy and delicious! I especially liked the condensed milk filling in the passionfruit paleta.

We also enjoyed the overall vibe of the area outside as well. This place is located in the smoky hollow development.

Ample variety of paletas to choose from with a unique way to dress them! Friendly staff. Seating indoors and outdoor. Great stop after enjoying the local restaurants. Parking nearby.
