Hard to believe this place wouldn't have a perfect 5-star rating. Easily the best bagel in Raleigh by a long shot. I can't imagine there is a better bagel for 100 miles. My friends downtown always grab a dozen or two when they are in the area because they are second to none.
Pro Tip: Freeze the fresh bagels and then run them under water for a few seconds before baking at ~300F for ~10 mins (give or take). I promise it's better than a 2+ day old bagel!

I was finally able to try New York Bagels and Deli when there wasn’t a line out of the door. The Sun-dried Tomato Bagel with Pork Roll, Egg and Cheese was absolutely phenomenal! I will definitely be back.

Best bagels in Raleigh. It's not unusual to see groups of policemen in line waiting to place orders. That tells me that they serve great food at reasonable prices. The people working there are fast and efficient.

Good food and okay service. It seems they cater more to their regulars than just the public in general. Should treat us all the same, that's how you get more consistent customers.

To start off, the bagels were good. Even though they gave me the wrong one. I asked for egg everything and got an everything.
We ordered 5 items, and the cashier only gave us 2 in our bag. Had to ask for the rest of our order because we were missing the 3/5. My boyfriend got a chicken parm sandwich, smallest hero ever. And he said the taste was ok. We also got a 1/2 pound of potato salad, which had absolutely zero flavor.
It’s unfortunate because we were talking to other New Yorkers in line about this place, but due to our experience we will not be coming back. We will be going back to the Cary NY bagel & deli from now on, not worth the wait.

Strong NY vibe, complete with a line out the door at 11:00 AM. The staff was friendly—unless you were the one caught holding the door open. We tried three bagels (two savory, one sweet), which were solid, though the coffee missed the mark. With a 30-40 minute wait, I can’t say I’m eager to return—unless I stumble by during off-hours.

The bagels and nova here are delicious! Wonderful staff! Lines are out the door. Be patient, it moves quickly. There is an indoor and outdoor eating area.
Bialys need a little work somehow.
Parking: It gets busy but spots open up.

Best bagels I have had in my life!!! I had an Asiago bagel with garlic herb cream cheese and my daughter had a plain bagel with turkey bacon and egg. 10/10!!
These deli sandwiches are the best! It absolutely gives NY vibes. Everyone is friendly and they move with lots of urgency.
My order was incorrect on one visit, so I mentioned it to someone at the counter. They boxed up the wrong sandwich, made me a new one and gave me some of my money back. I was floored. Just moved to Raleigh and I found my forever favorite sandwich shop.
