We live in Italy, in Puglia and we know good pizza. My husband, who is Cuban was trained by Neapolitans and has worked in some fantastic ristorantes including here in Raleigh, and we lived in Oakwood, how did we miss this treasure? Great spot - almost my favorite pizza in Raleigh but Pizza Times a few blocks away takes that crown. Simple menu and good service. Small for dining in but the wait goes quick. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that when placing pickup orders, they've lost my order 3 times now and had to wait 20 additional minutes to remake a plain cheese pizza.

The employee we interacted with was friendly. But I have to be honest, the pizza was just okay. We were visiting from Chicago, and we saw a few people in the reviews here mention that this was their favorite pizza in Raleigh. I eat pizza at least once every week, all different types/styles, so I was excited to try this place.
