If you’re looking for great Italian food in Raleigh, Pierro’s Italian Bistro is definitely worth trying. The atmosphere is really nice and the service was excellent.
I ordered the risotto and it was incredible. I’m very particular about tiramisu, and this one definitely passed the test. We also tried a chocolate dessert and the beignets and they were so good.

Pierro's Italian Bistro offers great service, GREAT food, and a cozy and romantic atmosphere with fabulous music and great lighting. The food is hot and delicious, with standout dishes including the mushroom and pesto gnocchi, Fritto Misto appetizer, prime ribeye medium well, Salmon Piccata, and Chicken Francese. The pizza is by far some of the best pizza ever had. However, one experience involved a mix-up with bread orders. A guest received Italian bread instead of the requested focaccia bread, and a snarky comment was made about being charged, though no charge appeared. Overall, service is prompt and friendly, with fantastic and friendly staff. The atmosphere is perfect, and the restaurant is highly recommended for a Saturday night.
