Based on the reviews, The Underground is a small venue that packs a punch, with a great space for vendors, meeting new people, and networking in the music scene. The theme features black light with color splatters, and the bathrooms are clean. The overall vibe is liked, and the bartenders are nice and professional. However, the venue is cash only, and there is a report of a card being overcharged by $10. The bar is overpriced as expected for a downtown bar, and charging $4 for water is unfortunate; there should be a water cooler with free cups for safety. The sound system is way too quiet, with almost no low end, though mids and highs are fine. It is easy to dance into a pillar. Despite this, people would go back for more events and had a good time seeing a Dubstep DJ.
