The chicken strips were tasty. How ever it was very concerning that staff were touching their face and not washing their hands. Really sad with all the germs everywhere and they should be concerned that people could get sick!

Popeyes chicken at RDU has been a stop of mine a few times recently. You have to go in thinking it's different than Chic-fil-a or Bojangles, because they have enough menu choices to mix it up. So from that perspective I give the food 4 stars.
Service, like at most airports, can be very hit and miss. I've gotten the wrong order a couple times and waited over 15 minutes other times. Staff is generally not that friendly. And the way they had the drink machine set...

Surprisingly the service was VERY FAST and accurate. I came here for an early breakfast at 4:30 am and they were open. Long line moved very fast with people getting their orders in less than 5 minutes. At the time of my trip, orders could only be placed via the kiosk or online by scanning their QR code. I very much liked the food and quick service to get my food. I wish more food options at the airport were this quick!
