Awesome food, when our crew worked in our downtown facility we always bought food from them. Burgers to coffee everything I ever ordered from there was very tasty.
UPDATE: THEY ARE CLOSED :(There are things in life you don't forget, and "The Joey " Reuben served at Reuben's is one of those things.Unfortunately their physical location is no more... they were pretty much forced to close their doors indefinitely because of the laws put in place by Roy Cooper due to COVID-19.They do however have a food truck, so do a quick online search and track down this sandwich - you won't regret it.
First off, no one acknowledges you as you enter, all of the employees will avoid you if they can. Secondly I was the only person in the restaurant and it took 20 minutes for a bacon, egg and cheese bagel. It's not like the had to cook fresh bacon, because it was already cooked prior. .Lastly, it was that great. What a waste of time and money.
I really love Reuben's for breakfast or lunch. I work close by and it's quick and easy to dine in or grab and go. The value and quality of food and service are top for downtown. I really recommend them.
Ordered the Big Fish. The tuna salad cooked and overcooked and grilled like a crabcake, the cheese was cold and not melted, the tomatoes were mush. This was the most disgusting tuna melt/sandwich that I have ever ate. The cook in the back was reading the menu to see what went on the sandwiches. This cannot be the way this sandwich is supposed to be made. I took two bites of it and now I feel like I have to throwup. The girl I gave the sandwich back to couldn't care less. Just wasted $15 on lunch.
I lived downtown for a while, love the food here very much. The cold sandwiches are always refreshing, the warm ones are super good. They are creative and delicious. Larry's coffee is good, and their sweet tea taste good too. They are always kind when I go in there, and the food comes out relatively fast. They do get busy, but 5 stars!
Lox bagel.. oh yes. So delicious.Pastrami Reuben w/ side of soup, chips, and a pickle for $13? So awesome. Huge sandwich.
My husband and I LOVE this place. They have a lot of vegetarian options for me and are very accommodating to their customers. We couldn’t recommend it more. Thank you for making delicious food!
Large lunch order for my company thats right around the corner. This is the Katz Deli of the south! Man the "samiches" were delish and HUGE!!!
Fantastic sandwiches and bagels.

We got take out 3 reubens, and corned beef sandwiches! Wow! Best corned beef in this area. Comparable in taste quality to what I've had from Slyman's in Cleveland OH or Katz's in NYC. We're hooked! 3 sandwiches fed 5 people and we have 1/2 sandwich left (which is hidden for lunch tomorrow.)
This is a taste of home.
Great locally owned place with a cool NYC vibe. They offer delivery as well!
The place was empty when I showed up only one other patron on a busy day at lunch time. I order a sandwich and the matzo ball soup. It was fine. The saving Grace was the guy behind the counter who was very friendly, we had a great conversation and he seemed passionate about the place and what they were doing (maybe the owner?). If you love a good New York Deli you should definitely check this place out... It just wasn't for me.
Great food! I picked up a to go order of matzo ball soup and a classic reuben. Everything was great! The staff was friendly and efficient. Can't wait to try other things on their menu!
