It's been almost 10 years since eating at this restaurant, only because I moved to another city, but I'm still telling people about it. The food was absolutely the best, while the service, hospitality, and cleanliness left a lasting impression. I would most definitely recommend this restaurant any time.

I came in and nobody greeted me. I've been coming here since the 80's and was shocked to see it's under new management. I sure will miss the previous owners, and after reading some recent reviews, I am glad I walked out without ordering. It's sad the original owners sold this once great pizza shop.

This place is opened up under new management as of around may or june 2023. I have been going here for over ten years under the previous ownership and didn't know about the change when I went there a week ago. I ordered 2 pepperoni pizzas on the phone and had no idea of the change. When i arrived, the place was completely empty at lunch time. that should have been the first warning! I took my previously paid for pizza's home with me still not knowing about the change in ownership. After i got home, to my shock, the pizzas were so thin, the thickness of a saltine cracker would put it to shame. There was almost no cheese, sauce or pepperoni on them! It was horrible!!! I spent my money so i was going to eat them anyway so i did eat 2 pieces by force. After that i just couldn't take it anymore. I decided to try the second one. I opened the box and WHAM!!! I was flabbergasted to see a totally out of shape monstrosity of a mess!!! This pizza was so out of shape, one side had a huge lump that wouldn't fit in the box. So they decided to fold over the lump over and put it on TOP OF THE REST OF THE PIZZA,MAKING A SANDWICH OF MESS A WHOLE SLICE LONG!!! They would have done better cutting it off! I worked in pizza shops for years so I know what happened. It was put in the oven by someone who didn't know how to do it correctly and it was misshaped. you throw that one away! Then because it was so misshaped, they cut it in ten, yes ten randomly shaped non geometric shapes. It looked like one of the kids i heard screaming in the back cut it! I have never seen that before in my life! Some of the shapes started in the middle and didn't even reach the edge. All that plus the terribleness of the first pizza! Stay away from this place like you life depends on it. It just might!!!

Walked out before getting to order -- the lights are dim, the decorations make no sense, the menu is shoddy (priced differently online AND there is permanent marker crossing out OTHER different prices!), and there was a kid literally screaming in the back room while fighting with his mom. Very unprofessional atmosphere and service. Didn't even get greeted walking through the door! 0/10

When qe walked in Mexican music was blasting to loud we had to ask them to turn it down so we could talk. We had 9 people and were the only ones in the place. We ordered 4 pizzas and they cooked them one at a time and set them on the oven while the rest were cookingSo one was cold and then one was fresh hot. Drinks weren't being refilled at all and the salad was a bowl of Lettuce and nothing else.We will order take out next time.

Beware: This restaurant is under new management and the quality of the food has declined considerably. The restaurant itself was never that nice, but the pizza and calzones used to be top notch. This is no longer the institution it once was. Mediocre at best.

Went there recently and saw that the old man that used to run the restaurant retired. Though with the new owners the food still came out great and still the same great pizza and wings as I remembered.Overall great pizza for only a few blocks away.
The pizza was good, my order was incorrect and the owner was a bit argumentative easy fix, just refund the missing toppings. I've been a customer for 10 years and never experienced unsatisfactory service prior. I was a bit disappointed but am certain it was a fluke.

Very disappointed.Apparently the restaurant is under new ownership and the recipes are a bit different.I don't know if I came in before they were intending to be open to the public? Or if they were operating on a skeleton crew. The woman there was deeply focused on her phone, and was not responding to anything until she was yelled at. The man doing the cooking was handling the entire transaction.The slice was thin and crispy, the stromboli dough was horrible. There was no oil and maybe no salt. The yeast was out of proportion and you could taste the funk.I really hate having to put this out there but I threw away more than half of my stromboli .I attempted to cook it more, but there was no way to save it.I could say more, like the ovens were not turned up high enough and they only had can sodas, but they are just starting out.I truly wish them luck, however I will not be experimented on again.

My experience also was disappointing on 6-02-2023. Unsanitary. Cooks doesn't use gloves and I seen them on the phone and touching numerous uncleaned areas of the kitchen then they never wash their hands. Then continue making pizzas with their bare hands.
