Just damn good pizza. Traditional NYC pizza that has a fantastic blend & ratio of bread, sauce, and cheese. As a northern transplant it's hard to find a good slice down here.... There's a comfort to Salvios that goes unmatched. It's an authentic pizza shop through and through.
They're doing a Brooklyn Style variation of NY Pizza, and it's really good. These are pizza people. Toppings were high quality. Dough was made fresh right there, I can tell. Nice balance of salt, sweetness, and savory seasoning in the sauce. This is a well-thought-out pizza. With a coupon that came in the mail, it wasn't a bad price. I did the takeout. Pizza was ready when I got there. Stayed warm in the box all the way home.
Ordered here because they had decent reviews and my go-to place(s) were closed, it was a Monday of course. I ordered a pizza, garlic-parm wings and a side Caesar salad (to cancel out the pizza and wings, obviously)….Everything was good. Maybe even great. The pizza had a nice thin, crispy crust and the cheese wasn’t burnt or greasy, toppings were average. Wings had a good amount of sauce on them and came right off the bone. The salad was pretty standard as far as salads go,...
