Played about a week ago. Was very disappointed. Course is going downhill. Was in great shape in 2024. Now, several tee boxes were all dirt, edges or greens were barren, several fringe areas had died out and had been sodded (although haphazardly). The greens were mowed at varying heights which made for inconsistent play. I’ll think twice before paying to play it again. For the money and the prestige you expect better. Walker course at Clemson in far superior shape.
The Terrace is a secret gem in the restaurant scene in Raleigh, NC. Serving sandwiches and salads for the lunch crowd, the crew at the Terrace has never disappointed! I especially love their homemade chips, the hot honey chicken sandwich (yum!), and the Caesar salad with grilled chicken. All is made fresh to order. Take your friends and family there this week for a delicious meal today!
I had to post five stars on service for the amazing and spectacular (female) bartender at the Terrace! I showed up on a day the lunch spot was closed for an event and I had no intention of sticking around for the snack bar thing but she completely bent over backwards to welcome me and accommodate my longing for iced tea, and lots of ice, on the Terrace patio. She kept bringing me tea and making sure I was happy, which I was! She also seemed very busy in back, but never disappeared. I got only the side patio but it was pretty good still. I wasn’t especially impressed with the snack bar wrap but I will be back again when the main patio and the kitchen are open for everyone with the regular menu. Sorry that I am terrible with names but rest assured based on what I’ve seen the bartender will welcome you and give you the best service you could want, even when they are closed! And by the way, if you’ve never been to the Terrace it is a lovely mini-holiday hide away, not to be missed.

Great food. No waiters. You have to order your food at the bar.

I had my 55 year class reunion there. I enjoyed seeing my class mates very much. The Terrace was a very nice place to have the class reunion at.

Play it. But don’t expect a great score the first time.
The view of downtown Raleigh is stunning, the food good, but parking can be a challenge on nice days if events or lots of golfers are around for lunch. Spicy Honey Chicken for the win. Definitely get the homemade chips with a side of ranch. You order at the bar and they give you a number and they deliver to your table.

I waited 40 minutes for them to take my order just for them to tell me that there’s a event happening in 30 minutes and they can’t take my order anymore

Very nice dinning room. Ample space for seating inside or outside on the patio. The prices are fair and the wait staff pleasant.
I've missed coming here and I'm very happy to see it back up and running! It's counter service for now, but you can sit anywhere and enjoy the views while you eat.
Management is amazing. It's nice to see the Terrance back after a 2+ year absence.
Very Nice
