If I could leave zero stars, I would. My husband and I walked in on a whim to have some dinner and the space looked very interesting. Big front windows and high ceilings… The host seated us at a table in the very back of the restaurant and we kindly asked our server when she approached if we could sit somewhere closer to the front because it was very dark in the back. She said she would check with the host and rolled her eyes as she walked away. The vibe from the staff in general was very off-putting. Besides, bathrooms were gendered and the room was genuinely so dark it was a struggle to read the menu. We left before even taking a sip of water.

Great place to eat at. Food was amazing. Coming back again. My waitress was amazing. Fries were cold and we're sent back but they brought out more that were hot. I'm from out of town. This is a good place to eat.
We are currently here. Been here over an hour and absolutely no refills on drinks. Ordered 2 app and 2 sides no food yet. This is supposed to be a lunch place? Please?! Been here many times but never, ever again. Charged us full price and we had to take our food to go. Unbelievable. Lunch with my daughters completely ruined. Believe the reviews about slow/bad service

This a bad place they made me pay with a card 33. 50 for meal n I used my card lady said they won't charge me and now they came back with a bill I gave them 40 cash and now he I said something to the manager Gary or one of the managers about my money he said that well I don't want to give I can't give you my money back because I'm losing and that's very unprofessional and then he want to say I threaten them when I'm the one that's the victim about my money but if it was him or somebody else dealing with they called and they money and they said something about it I guess it's fine and Danny but when it comes to a person that's a black male or whatever whatever that he probably figured out he asked me for my information I didn't want to give my information cuz I feel like my information is already being used against me and not being cheated out some money now he want to talk about calling the police and with and making a report but in all reality they're dead wrong That's the bad place and I'll never spend my money there again and if they were doing that one time they probably doing a lot more people like that ain't nobody giving no $40 tip for no alligator bites two $5 shots one Corona when the Corona's probably like $3 or $4 and the alligator bite saying number like $14.99 so that's $70 I lost but I pay $33.50 at 11:15 on a date October 13th and now I'm the bad guy and y'all just lost a customer because y'all don't want to know how to solve problems and not alone I was going to work there but at the end of the day I would never work for y'all because y'all unprofessional and y'all don't know how to run things the right way so y'all want to resort to false accusations and lying saying that I was lying about everything at first you wanted to ask for my name my ID card and all this and that but you still taking my money but you don't want to replace me and I said I still give you a $10 tip just give me $30 back but he said no I'm not giving you nothing back but at the end of the day got to deal with that Y'all have a nice day and after any day you're unprofessional and I never spend a dollar and anybody talks about your spot or this place this establishment I'm going to tell him watch out and I'm going to let them know that's not a good place that's not a good thing to do simple

I stumbled upon The Big Easy while searching for a late-night snack, and I couldn't have been happier with my choice. The atmosphere was electric, with karaoke in full swing and everyone just vibing together. It made for a welcoming and lively experience.
I started with the fried green tomatoes, which were absolutely delicious—perfectly crispy and flavorful. The spicy jerk chicken wings were another highlight; they packed a nice kick without overwhelming the taste. I did order a Smokey Old Fashioned, but it didn’t quite hit the mark for me; it lacked the smoky flavor I was hoping for.
What stood out the most was the sense of safety and community. As a solo diner, I sometimes find exploring new places intimidating, but the friendly staff made me feel at ease. One of the waitresses even wished me a safe trip to my car, which was a thoughtful touch.
Overall, I highly recommend The Big Easy and will definitely return the next time I'm in Raleigh. Great food, a fantastic vibe, and a welcoming atmosphere make it a must-visit

I location and atmosphere is excellent. The food is a nice taste from down south. There’s a large selection of favorites from New Orleans. You have to try the Gumbo & Red beans and rice.
terribly rude & standoffish bar tender, vibes were bad as soon as we walked in. i’m completely astonished by the workers behavior and lack of care for guests - coming from someone who works in customer service. NOBODY should ever visit here - 0/10 experience. Would not recommend but definitely will share my experience with everyone I know. I didn’t even get the OPTION to get a drink or even look at the menu. Bar tender should be fired.
