It's a dive bar scene, jukebox, serves hotdogs and chips too. The bar overserves customers though, there was more than a few people stumbling, heavy slurred speech, and bothering other patrons. Also I only saw white people there. Which is weird for a raleigh bar??? Crowd is 30's and 40's. Jukebox is only worth it if you choose popular crowd pleaser songs, the bar will skip ones they don't like even if you've paid for them.

They have a women working there: April Williams, she is a racist!
I have video proof of her putting her feet on another person instructing him to not touch her dog.
They allow this women to parade as the owner but she is not.
Do not go there! there are other bars in the area that have better service and entertainment.

As a local, we should do a poll about how many people that are locals that get kicked out for life, including myself because I know about 20 or 30 that grew up here before it was even the cardinal. Especially when they do kick out specific officers and people who do Zen meditation so they should probably take some of those signs off the door that they advertise. I mean really, who gets kicked out of public places for life? It is what it is though.

Chill super local spot in the old cardinal taxi HQ. DEFINITELY get a hot dog, even if you’re not hungry. Its delicious. They’ve got a solid beer and liquor selection. Grab a hat while you’re there after your third drink. They also have a great view of DTR and decent porch space if you feel like sitting outside. Quirky signs about not being an a$$hole all throughout the building.
