I wanted to like this restaurant, I live Dominican food but unfortunately a second visit for me it’s a no! Walked in with my family and no acknowledgment. The women were talking amongst themselves behind the counter. A nice young lady appeared from the back and told us to sit ourselves. Waited longer than I would’ve anywhere else for the menu and for our orders to be taken. There were only 3 tables occupied indoors and I saw some activity in the outdoor sitting. The food was room temperature, food needed seasoning and the sancocho tasted nothing like I’ve tasted before. The bathroom behind the devilish statute in the back wasn’t working and a disgusting smell came from there, yuk! Food isn’t worth the 1 hr 45 min drive…. Never again!

Yes, the food was delicious! However, the service was not great. Upon arrival you’ll see a buffet like area. We ordered there and were told we can sit anywhere. The table we chose had a menu. We looked at the menu and my husband decided to order additional food to take back to the hotel. Waitress came to the table with our drinks and my husband ordered. Her body faced him and as soon as he was done talking she left and I was unable to order additional food to take home. The plate he order to go cost $30 and there wasn’t much like shown on the menu. Throughout the time she checked on us she would only face him and ignore me. When we went to pay the overall cost was $80. I paid $100 in cash and either she don’t know how to count or she tipped herself. I would not go again to this restaurant despite the good food not worth facing rude people. I found the receipt and attached it!! She tipped herself $15 because I only received $12 back!!! And she included the $10 tip when she charged and stole $5 when handing me the change. DO NOT GO HERE. Check receipts before leaving!!

The Dominican restaurant is one of the best places in this area, due to the service and the great musical atmosphere, the food 🥰 is very delicious. 10/10

If you want horrible service paired with dry and cold food, then come here. We found this spot online and I regret spending a cent here. The staff was too busy entertaining at the bar and drinking. Food came out slowly and was cold. We were not given enough time to look at menu and were impatient when asked questions about varying dishes. It is a shame that we had such a horrible experience, but needed to make sure others do not make the mistake of coming here.

The food is really good, but the service I received today was terrible. Despite the restaurant being empty, I had to get up after 20 minutes to look for the waitress, and then waited an entire hour just to receive two “llaroas” and a chimi. Very disappointing experience.

.I am Dominican and I will go to this restaurant, I saw many negative things that without knowing this restaurant hurt me because I am Dominican and that name carries a lot of weight🇩🇴🇩🇴🇩🇴. There are also many positive things and I think it is just a question of situations. I hope to find good food there and good service. I know when food is good or bad. because I worked in a large restaurant for many years in the Dominican Republic as a cook. I hope to give you a good score

The beans were bitter, it took almost 50 minutes to serve the dish and on top of everything, it was an expensive dish, I do not recommend this place..

Fried chicken was deliciously seasoned. Everything else was good. Restrooms could use a little cleaning up as you can see in the pictures. Authentic Dominican food.
