Food was delicious, menu was extensive, staff was friendly. Highly recommend! Updated from previous review on 2025-12-14
I went here with 1 vegetarian and 1 acclaimed carnivore, and we all enjoyed the food! The carnivore even said that he couldn’t even tell the food was vegan, which I count as a win! I especially loved the French toast💗
The Southern plate was amazing. Pulled bbq pork, tasted just like pork. I was really surprised to get a table. But we were willing to eat at 5pm. We sat at the bar and the mocktails with their unique delicious ingredients were out of this world.
The new location is great, you can hang out nearby. Food is amazing as always. Arthur was such a fun and hospitable server.

I had the hotdog lunch here today, and it was delicious.
New, permanent location is terrific-decor, coziness, comfiness-all fantastic! The star of the show is, of course, the food but right there w/the stellar food, is the stellar service from Betsy! She is so informative, knowledgeable, professional and FUN! She adds so much to the dining experience here. What a true asset to FK!

Omg! I wish I lived in Raleigh so I could come here at least once a week! My meal was amazing, service was great and the whole restaurant is full of cute details!

Beautiful location with excellent, interesting food, creative cocktails, not overly sweet or juice heavy mocktails, and an incredible friendly and knowledgable staff. Cannot wait to go back

My girlfriend and I ate there prior to a concert and couldn't have been more pleased. Great food and even better service by Betsy. We live about 2 and 1/2 hours away and can see ourselves returning just for this restaurant. Great job all around.

This has been our go to place since we moved to Raleigh. It’s so good, I can not get the watermelon “fish” dish out of my head! Wait staff is always friendly too.
I really wish I had taken a picture of the food because it was incredible! Our server was Rachel G and they were fantastic. I wasn't sure if I would like a cocktail on the menu and they brought me a sample (it was so good!). We were looking over the menu for dessert and they came back to recommend the peanut butter cheesecake (it was sublime!). It felt like having a mind reader in the BEST way! Love the new location and decor!

Food was meh; hostess was rude; we asked for a booth and although the restaurant was 80% empty with many booths available, she decided to check their system to verify if we requested a booth before finally offering us a half booth.
The space is cute, but the food was disappointing. The impossible meatloaf was dense and bland. The chicken and meat substitutes were mushy. I actually spit it out. The charcuterie board was just okay, but served with only five pieces of bread, which is not enough. Super expensive and 100% not worth it. $190 for four. Save money and go to Marian’s instead. So much better food and service.
