Great place. The game tenders are very good at picking out selections and explaining the rules quickly so you can get to playing, the food and drinks were great, overall a pretty cozy atmosphere.

Waited for over 20 minutes seated without anyone asking us what we wanted or taking our order, will not be returning ever, all it would have taken is someone saying literally anything about they were sorry that they were busy. But no one did even that, we walked out.

The games they offer and place itself is cute but the service sucked and the food was pretty bland. Ordered some beignets with apple butter to start, they were pretty good. The avocado toast was dry, the avocado was like a guacamole paste (not a real avocado) and the plate was overpowered with tomato. The server was very slow and kept forgetting to bring the check, refill the water and coffee. And speaking of coffee, they don't have an espresso machine so no cappuccino or latte option, it's all drop coffee or regular American coffee which was very watered down and didn't taste like anything. Don't recommend and won't come back.

Service is AMAZING and the food is absolutely delicious! Unlimited refills on soft drinks. Had the fondue.. it was so tasty and the bread was perfectly cooked with some crunch. The pickled vegetables were very good with an added crunch. All food is freshly prepared as I did not get the sauce with the grits. Ambiance is relaxed, noise level is not bad at all. Hundreds of games to choose from if you want to play! Highly recommend this restaurant and I will definitely add this into my rotation! Maybe there is hope for good food in NC!

Came to Raleigh on a business trip and my husband insisted we stop by after seeing the menu. It was absolutely worth it! Really excellent food and the service was speedy, accommodating, and kind. Will definitely be recommending it whenever someone tells me they are heading to NC!

The food today was okay. The salads were terrific but the breakfast with cheese grits was okay. The cheese grits were too creamy and tasted like mush. We were constantly barring at flies while we areThe chocolate chess pie was excellent.

My wife and I had two different sets of friends recommend The Kitchen Table to us and we finally got around to going on a date there last night. We had a blast. The food was fantastic - I had the Turkey Club and it was amazing. My wife had the egg salad sandwich and liked it as well.We are big board game fans and the knowledge of the gametender was impressive. We told him the types of games we like and he recommended Cascadia and was able to explain the game to us in detail (and we heard him doing this with several other games at tables around us). We had a great time playing the game and have added it to our wish list of games to purchase. We can't wait to go back!

Went here with some girlfriends for lunch on a Sunday. We had delightful cocktails, great food, and played fun games. The gamemaster provided excellent recommendations and instructions so it was easy to get started.I'm looking forward to bringing my husband here for a date night!

TLDR: Excellent place for a delicious meal at a reasonable price. Easy online ordering. Curbside pick-up no longer available. We have dined at Relish before and had a good experience. This time we chose to order takeout from the Kitchen Table at Relish. We were equally impressed by this meal. We ordered online the Buffalo wrap and chili mac and cheese. The meal was ready on time and reasonably priced. An employee greeted us upon arrival and handed us the order. All of the items tasted great and were portioned well. I know the chili mac and cheese sounds strange but it did taste really good. The Kitchen Table is located beside Relish. It has a takeout counter, additional dining area, and emphasizes biscuits, brews, and board games. Overall, we had a good experience here and recommend this restaurant to others!

Love, love, love this place! I had been to Relish several times but needed a place for my sister's birthday brunch, and Kitchen Table fit the bill. The food is amazing, and you can get doughnuts to go. Yum! There's an entire wall of board games to play. They don't accept reservations but the flow is pretty good. I didn't notice anyone having to wait while we were there.Since we had a fairly large group, I got there early so they wouldn't be caught off-guard. Kiara(?) and team were super helpful and gracious. By the time everyone showed up, our table was set and Zack was ready to get everyone! I can't say enough good things about our time at Kitchen Table.Did I mention, they're incredibly kid friendly. They have games like Candy Land and Uno! They even modified the Barbie drink special to be non-alcoholic for one little girl who really wanted one.If you're looking for a nice but casual brunch spot, this is your place. You won't be disappointed!

The food was delicious but the vibe was even better. If you're in your 20s-40s and aren't an uptight human, this is the spot for weekend brunch and a game. They have great food with exceptional service. We have never played games while coming to KTAR but everyone around us was and it looked like a lot of fun. We had salad and a breakfast platter with broccoli to share. If no one tells you ahead of time, get the broccoli with jalapeño ranch. It is AMAZING. I have thought about eating it as my entire meal, many times. We have been coming here since it's inception and will certainly be returning. Hopefully next time to play a game as well.
