A local bar with a food truck. Cool place to just hang out. Was not very busy when I went but was nice not being crowded.

Visiting from out of town and pulled up restaurant on google. The menu online sounded good. Reviews are above average. We arrive and , not knowing it’s a food truck attached to the tavern, head inside. No friendly greeting, no “take a seat be right with you” - so we seat ourselves and bartender comes to get drink order. Not overly friendly. We order our drinks and then had to ask about the food. Learned the food truck is outside. Ok, cool. She says the menu is on the site - yep- got it. We go outside -menu there is nearly entirely different than the online. Mac n cheese was noodles with a soupy sauce poured over. BBQ sandwich was decent but the vibe and everything else was off. Maybe an off day but definitely not a place I’d recommend if visiting.

We went with a small group of friends this past weekend, and had an amazing time. There was a 1 man band playing outside. The drink special were very good. We tried the Blood orange cider and hope it's a standard on the bar menu. The food truck menu was extensive, and best fries ever. We will be back!

Love this bar! So cute. Filled with good people. Reasonably priced drinks. Oh man the food truck (which is permanent) is fire. Smoked meats take center stage and of all the menu items we tried the brisket nachos took the 🏆

Stopped here for a beer after running Thanksgiving Eve errands. Definitely a gathering place. Some groups were meeting after work, others were meeting before the Canes game.
Definitely a change over from groups meeting for drinks after work to group going out for the evening. But always a cool vibe.

Love this neighborhood gem! Hosted my husbands 60th birthday here last weekend and it was fantastic! From the preplanning to the event day, it was great working with the whole team of professionals at The Wandering Moose. The whole staff team was really invested in making it a special night, even went above and beyond by putting up special birthday decorations. They cooked a whole pig for our event but their regular offerings are also always on point. They didn't even bat an eye when I told them the NC State Pep Band was making a cameo. I can't recommend them highly enough. Its a perfect gathering spot with that local joint kind of feel and really welcoming staff. And they always have live music. Definitely stop in and see them soon!

Nice bar and friendly staff with a great selection of good and reasonably-priced beers! I would have given 5 stars for the food (from the house truck outside), except that were out of my first 2 sandwich choices.
