Torchy's Tacos

Thanks to Torchy’s Staff and Management today. We had issues with our take-out order (which is super unusual) and they were super helpful in getting things resolved. Much appreciated!!

Vegetarian options: Both breakfast and lunch options for vegetarian here.

Dietary restrictions: I have a gluten and dairy intolerance. The democrat (without the cotija) and the green chile pork (without the cotija) are made with corn tortillas. I haven’t reacted to the chips. I can eat the guacamole without the cotija.

Overall the food is nice and flavorful but there were a couple drawbacks from
Someone who ordered it to go.The food comes cold in my opinion and Is not exactly prepared the way it should be eaten when ordering to go. I had no idea how to administer the sauces as a first time guest. With that being said let me dive into my experience.

The service was amazing the lady who checked me out provided recommendations and was very kind and helpful. The atmosphere was wonderful and seemed like a great place to sit down and eat and order drinks.

The food. I ordered 2 tacos that weren’t too expensive I’ll review each of them.

1. Baja shrimp. This was my favorite very flavorful and delicious. I didn’t know which sauce to use so I tried them all and they all tasted great on this. 8/10 only issue was it came cold.

2. Tipsy chick. Not my favorite because I didn’t know about the bacon sauce my first bite was without it and I could not eat it. Once I figured out that sauce was needed it was 10 times better. Was also cold 6/10

3 steak fajita. I really wanted to love this one because the flavor was definitely there. The problem was the meat was too fatty and chewy and mad it hard to enjoy. I still ate my way through and liked the taste 7/10

Over all 4/5 stars ⭐️ I would eat here again.

A great lunch, or dinner spot, or anytime you need a taco and a shot. Full bar. Indoor seating or Patio dining. Large variety of crafty tacos. Well prepared with magnificent ingredients. Definitely would recommend.

Possibly the best tacos I’ve ever had. We tried six different tacos and they were all delicious. The guacamole was amazing too.

We place our order to go, and the service was fast, friendly and super helpful.

The vibe seemed really cool. If we had been here on a nice warm day, we would’ve eaten outside.
