This place is great! The food is amazing every time, you've got to try their shrimp & grits and/or the breakfast hash! My friend got the sweet potato pancake and loved that as well. Their Bloody Marys are my favorite, though ;) Lastly, the ambiance is nice and lowkey without being too dark to read the menus. I only have good things to say about this spot.

We had a fantastic time at Tupelo Honey. We were celebrating our nephew's 19th birthday. The restaurant was kind enough to allow us to bring a birthday cake. We got there early and got 1/2 price appetizers, which was great. Loved the fried okra and the biscuits. Our meals were fantastic. My chicken with potatoes was great. What made the experience was our excellent server Karla, who was so friendly and welcoming. We never had to ask for anything. She rocks! We'll certainly...

The food was perfect, we all loved it so much. However, our reservation was at 12:00pm and we were only seated at 12:20pm. Our food (lunch) only came out at 1:20pm. We quickly realized it wasn't the wait staff that was overwhelmed, it was the kitchen. The kitchen got really backed up and it essentially bottlenecked everything. If we go back it will definitely be at a lower traffic time
