Vic's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria

We visited Vic's to celebrate a birthday so we had a larger group. Our waiter was super attentive, taking time to explain each of the specials and answer any questions. The food was great - everyone enjoyed! My father - for the first time in his life - enjoyed an Italian meal. He even said we could take him back! (That has never happened before when the rest of us want Italian!)
I (only person in the group) am gluten free and was able to have several options, including the specials, and other than having my mouth water over the garlic knots (which everyone loved) I didn't feel left out!
We will definitely go back!

Fantastic local Italian spot. Hands down the best Italian food I have had.

My wife consistently gets the Penne alla Vodka, which is incredible, but this time I switched it up with the Spaghetti alla puttanesca per our waiter, Bennett’s, suggestion. I truly believe it’s the best sauce I’ve ever had. Bennett was very thorough in his explanation, how the sauce was made, ingredients, etc. and it genuinely was very interesting. He was also extremely accommodating for changes to dishes etc.

We had a friend visiting who said she needed the best pasta, we brought her to Vic’s and they did not disappoint!

Had an early dinner/happy hour timeframe. Food was great service (Bennett) was kind and thoughtful. Piano player was a nice addition especially for a quaint Italian place after the “club like” music stopped playing over speakers. Would suggest manager to inform patrons not to spend 3 hrs at bar on conference calls, laptop zoom calls and many work calls on phone, especially with such a small bar area. A bit too much suggest a table or outside would have made for a better 1st time experience.

Ate here for the first time with a friend; he eats there all the time and invited me. Dang, this place will become my go to eat out pizza! Great outdoor seating, cozy and very nice indoor seating, great little bar. It’s not a pizza joint, rather a small quaint family owned Italian restaurant. Pizza was the best I’ve had in years! Years! And a very nice menu. Highly recommend. My new goto eat out Italian! Oh, great side salad!

First time dining at Vic's restaurant. Took our waiter, Bennett's suggestion and ordered the seafood special with Puttanesca sauce. It was excellent. Will definitely be going back.

Food is amazing! The fresh homemade pasta was next level and the specials were unreal. My entire family ate ever single drop and almost licked their plates! This is a great place to go for good food, it’s a great- loud/Italian/NewYork style place with amazing food! Mario the owner is super cool and came out to chat with everyone as they were leaving and thanking them for coming in! MUST TRY place in Raleigh! Don’t go here for the country club experience, go here for great food and very charismatic waiters that know food and wine! Benny knows his food and made amazing suggestions.

We were a party of 13 and we were seated on two tables. Vic’s has delicious foods. The restaurant was recommended to us by a local friend. We’re glad we followed his recommendation. The staff served us warmly and efficiently. Highly recommend.

Really great Italian! I now saw the largest Calzones I ever saw. Cheese, cheese and more cheese! The Pollo Alla Parmigiana was outstanding as well. This will definitely become one of my favorite go to’s when in the area.

The food and service here are fantastic. They always have unique and exciting specials, and Bennett is our favorite waiter — he takes such great care of us and is always very accommodating.
